Chuck and his crew are very professional and did their up-most to work around our schedule and the weather. They cleaned up every night before they left. They did the work in sections and made sure that the house was sealed in case of bad weather until the next day.
He does have a special piece of equipment that they direct the old shingles directly into this container. The equipment was able to work around the flower beds and other plants so as not to destroy any of the plants or trees.
During the removal process of the old shingles he found that there were three areas around 3 of the dormers (we have 4 dormers) where the flashing was not installed correctly and he replaced the rotten wood. Also it was noted that an upstairs bath vent was not venting outside (this was common when the house was built in 1999) and installed an outside vent and put additional insulation around the vent. The total extra cost for the extra work was only $170.
We did get a copy of his insurance to make sure that all of his employees and himself were covered in case of an accident, as well as his state license number.
