I have been sending my dogs to the Woofdorf since they opened years ago. The staff and owner truly care about the animals in their care. You can go online to view what's happening for the day and will also post videos and pictures to their Facebook account.
I love that you can pick-up or drop-off 24 hours a day with advanced notice. There is always someone onsight to keep track of what is happening with the animals.
Unlike many other boarding kennels, here your dogs are playing with the day care dogs all day and are only in their "suites" at night.
I have also used their grooming services from time to time and have generally been pleased. The few times I didn't quite like the cut, they made a note in the file and adjusted going forward.

We could not possibly be happier than we are with the Woofdorf Astoria and the staff that works there!
My wife and I were throwing a very large Halloween party at our house and while our two black labs are great with people, we didn't want to put stress on them or ourselves with that many people in the house.
We had heard of the Woofdorf through our vet and through a number of friends who all had nothing but positive to say about the place so we decided to check the place out.
Right from the start, Angie and her team gave our dogs both the attention and the direction our two large and very strong willed labs needed. We were impressed with every aspect of the people and the facility during the tour that Angie provided.
When we returned to drop the dogs off, they were so excited the literally dragged me to the door to get in and play with the other dogs.
I will tell you this right now. You will see people complaining online about the location of the facility and that the place doesn't have the fancy furnishing you see in some of the dog hotels you see featured on TV... trust me. I have had dogs for years and I can tell you this... dogs do not care about what a place looks like or where it is. They only care about being loved, treated well, and being given the space to play. Everything else is for the owners and nothing more!
Woofdorft has without question earned our repeat business and we will be singing their praises to anyone we can! We picked up our two dogs the next day and they were tired and happy from all the playing that they got to do. We intend to bring them back once a month for little mini vacations for them and for ourselves!
Again, we cannot recommend Woofdorf highly enough. We love our dogs like if they are our children and the Woofdorf staff treats them as if they are their children as well!

I have been taking my dog to this location for doggie daycare, I love this place the staff is all friendly and professional. The location also has someone at the location 24hours a day, 7 days a week. On nice days they have an acre of land so they have the dogs go out and play. By the time my dog comes back home he is worn out and he is a lab.

I have 2 Lhasa Apso dogs and anyone who has a dog of this breed knows that they can be a lot of work to maintain and require grooming at least every 4 to 6 weeks. I have used different groomers around town, some good and some not so good. I actually was looking for a new groomer, when one of my husband's customers had recommended Wolfdorf. My husband said that their dog looked great so I figured I'd give them a try. I called and got a same day appointment which sometimes can be difficult to get with 2 dogs so I was happy. My appointment was with Mark and when I arrived with the 2 dogs he was waiting for me. He's really personable and spent quite a bit of time talking with me about the dogs. He asked me how I like them groomed and asked about special needs or if they had any "issues". My female is pretty easy, standard Lhasa hair, easy to maintain and cut. My male on the other hand is a challenge. He's what is known as a "teddy bear" lhasa which means that his coat is thick and fluffy and the under coat is almost like cotton. When his coat is grown out full length it is very hard to manage. Therefore I have him shaved down both for his comfort in the warm weather and for me so I don't have to spend 3+ hours combing him three times a week. Mark agreed to shave the male for now since the weather was still warm but indicated that he would like to let his coat grow out for winter. I'm a bit worried about that, but he did mention that he does free "comb outs" between regular grooming appointments. So we are letting it grow for now. The male also chews on the bottom of his paws.. a LOT. After our conversation, Mark took the leashes off the dogs, picked both of them up and off he went, saying that he would call me when they were finished. Well about 2 hours later, the dogs were done and I went to pick them up. They were beautiful and smelled so good. Mark had indicated that he soaked the male's paws in an oatmeal bath to see if that helps stop the chewing. He asked that I keep an eye on him and let him know if it helps, which it did. Since Mark had done such a good job with the dogs I decided to use the grooming services at Wolfdorf again. On my second visit, I shared with Mark that the oatmeal bath had worked and the chewing was much less and the dog was a lot more comfortable. Mark told me that since my male had been shaved on his last visit that today's visit would not be charged at full price since it wasn't a full groom. I thought that was great since at previous groomers I was charged full price even when the male was shaved. I have since taken both dogs back to Wolfdorf for grooming and will continue to do so. Thanks Mark for providing such wonderful grooming service. Your compassion for the dogs really shows!
