Tivo Roofing

While "Roofing" is in his name, he also does drywall/plaster repair. The quality of the repair was fine, although Tivo claimed he would paint the whole ceiling, and instead painted only the patch. The more significant problem was that I was originally quoted for a complete covering of the ceiling with drywall. When Tivo arrived, he found he could do a patch instead. I said fine. I had expected that the patch (roughly 3 x 1') would cost quite a bit less than covering the whole ceiling (12x13') in drywall. In fact the reduced patch price was not in proportion with the quote for doing the whole ceiling. Of course this patch job was a verbal request, and no written quote was given. Tivo used this opportunity of having no quote to charge much more than he should have. I have worked with plenty of other maintenance people who do not operate this way, and Tivo will not be getting future work from me. I suggest you not have Tivo work for you unless you have a detailed quote, and for any variance from the work being done, be very specific about what the cost will be.
