New Day Plumbing

Description of Work: I had a fixed showerhead installed in an older bathroom. The cut through the plaster was sloppy and two leaks started as a results of his work. Unfortunately, he only noticed one of the leaks...after work ten hours later I come home to a trickling waterfall in my kitchen. A New Day Plumbing supposedly offers 24/7 service; however I did not receive a call back until two days later. Two days that I had my water turned off to prevent further damage. The plumber replaced the pipe he broke and repeatedly assured me that he would repair the damaged plaster in the ceiling. As of July 13th I have yet to have him initiate contact to repair the ceiling in my kitchen. I've left three messages and briefly spoke with him once in which he again assured me he hadn't forget about me and intended to repair the damage he caused. I'm done waiting and have hired another contractor to repair the plaster, at my expense, of at least $300. Although this plumber was initially friendly and responsive, he has since dropped off the map. I am sorry for any family/personal issues he may be having, but I am still a customer and at least deserve the courtesy of a returned phone call, not to mention a repair at no cost to the damage he caused.
