About us
My Favorite Handyman is an owner operated company, you WILL have the owner on-site and in many cases doing the complete job. There are additional tradesman I can bring in for larger jobs. I DO NOT subcontract my work out to others, you hire myself and my crew do the work. The key to our operation is communication. You will get a call back (usually within 1-2 hours or less), and we will honor our work and repair any warranty items. All estimates are scheduled as quickly as possible and any back-log in work or delay in ability to start will be explained at that time.

Justin's business, My Favorite Handyman is amazing. He does the highest quality work at a reasonable price. He reports to the job on time and doesn't leave until the job is completed and completed correctly. I highly recommend this company to everyone. I am extremely satisfied. This is the best home repair contractor that I have ever experienced.

I required this work as I had water damage which was my biggest concern to avoid in the future. The shower surround he installed was caulked the first time with what we can assume was the wrong caulk as the surround came off the wall. There were other issues with the surround install. The light/fan was installed incorrectly on 1 switch so the nightlight/fan/light operate together not separately so I will have to hire an electrician to correct that problem. The medicine cabinet this handyman chose and installed after 2 weeks of use is already dropping parts so that will also have to be replaced. The trim that he installed has gaps, I would suggest a woodworking class before he installs in the future. There were boot marks left in the bathtub / surround that I have been unable to get clean as well as marks on the ceiling and wall. Clean up was not done by the handyman. I will have to have a plumber check the installation of the faucet handle installation as I have reduced water pressure compared to before this work was done.

"[Member Name Removed], I'm sorry you feel this way. I was concerned from the start as all the work & estimates were done with your daughter instead of you directly. I won't do that again as most of the items you mention were approved by your, adult, daughter, but that was not the info you received when you returned from out of town. I'd be happy to explain what happened. tub surround caulk - there was one bad tube that failed. I let the manufacturer know and replaced it at my cost. exhaust fan/light - we asked your daughter if one switch was okay as separate switches would be additional work. She opted for one switch. trim - when we left there were no gaps, as any gap was caulked. Caulking was necessary as the walls in this bathroom are out of square. shower handles - all we did was change the handles. We didn't touch the plumbing/piping. medicine cabinet - was approved by your daughter. I'd be happy to repair if given the chance. marks on wall/ceiling - was told by your daughter it was no problem to leave our pencil marks on the wall as the entire bath would be painted."

Justin was helpful, professional and efficient every step of the way, from the first call to the last follow-up detail.. He even came back to adjust the deadbolt, which was the original (old) one when I had trouble getting it to work. I would absolutely hire him again!

While the price was a little higher than I expected, the service from Jason made it all worth it. He was very professional, yet friendly while completing high quality work. We had a wide range of projects to complete and Jason was skilled to complete all of them including hanging a medicine cabinet, large mirror, dartboard, garage shelves, and TV. I would highly recommend Jason for other projects to friends and family. Appreciate getting quality service!

Everything you want a handyman or contractor to do - he did it all and did it all very well. He called, emailed and did everything he said he would do. He has the talent and know-how to tackle just about anything in home improvement. Any repair or remodeling work we want done in the future, we will call him first. A simple fix done well, I trust Justin to work with my renters and fix the problems they have. Justin is my eye's on the ground and I know he will do a good job and be responsive to my requests. I have used him a couple of times already and look forward to working with him in the future.

He had to go into the wall to find the leak, and so he repaired the wall as well. He was very personable and prompt, so I liked that about him. He called back when he said he was going to, which I thought was very good, because I have had problems with that in the past. He is not a “finish” contractor because a little bit of the finishing that he did was a little rough I thought. I do not think the price was too much - it was fair. The cost of $300 included some of the cosmetic changes I made. I would hire him back again.

Justin arrived on time and immediately began working. He cleaned as he went and removed all the old fixtures and faucet. He gave me additional estimates on some future work and was very friendly, knowedlegabe and efficient. I would without a doubt call him again for repairs needed to my house and highly recommend him. The price quoted to me was less than expected as he completed the work in less time.

We were concerned about having out bathroom back as quickly as possible and making the transition smooth. The contractor went above and beyond to make sure this happened. Also, we had several estimates other than this conctractor, and not only was their number competitive, but they actually pointed out a few issues that needed to be addressed in the decision making process that no other contractor even mentioned. We also appreciated the "no haggle" pricing, as I have always figured anyone who changes their price didn't give you their best price the first time.
