We went with Mano because they were cheap and that's the type of work we got. Very difficult to get a estimate response. Their motto is "We don't hire contractors" but they probly should. They hire college kids with no skills that we had to keep a constant eye on. I advised the owner that they need to stay in school and not build fences anymore. They took absolutely no pride in their work.
Our neighbors had hired them for a simple fence, about 30' long and the post were erratically spaced.Not a couple inches mind you, but by feet. They came back and replaced the post to proper spacing.
The owner came and we advised him what we wanted. He was trying to designing its placement through some ares of concrete. "My wife" said why don't you move it back a couple feet into the grass. He said good idea and said " this conversation never happened" and we all laughed.
So we had no idea when they were coming and just showed up one morning and started to set the posts. It was the same kids that did the neighbors. I was scared but anybody can make a mistake. They drilled through our electric line. Couple days later they showed up again with no advance warning. The fence was not even designed the way we wanted by the owner. He had two more lateral boards than we wanted as we advised him we wanted to be able to look through it at the flowers.The 4" height was correct though. This was just a fence to make the insurance company happy cus we had a pool.
They proceeded to cut boards on the ground elevated by a couple 2x4s. I said to them that I have some saw horses if they wanted to use them. They did not. The crown of the boards were not installed correctly and erratically on the posts. The nails were placed erratically. Now this is the kicker. One post was installed on an slight angle and the gate was made incorrectly so as the three lateral boards were barely nailed on to the post incorrectly. They have about 1/2" contact with the post. This was done because the gate would not close otherwise. They even had to bevel boards on the gate for it to close.The hinges are not even centered on the gate. The Diagonals in the gate are opposite what they should be. They are like this \ and should be / consistent with the way the gates swing.
The owner came over with an attitude and said it will get fixed. I told him not to just show up but give us some advance notice. I advised him we did not want the same kids that were here. We herd nothing and I kept calling and kept getting an answering machine. So I went to thire location and the door was locked and nobody home. I did this a couple times and kept calling but no replies. My final call was to tell them I would plaster the internet and install a sign in the yard to make people aware not to use this company. No reply.

We had removed an old section of fence and posts, called Mano because we had seen thier signs on some other fences. They came in and told us the price would be $975 for a 44' section 6' tall (about $22.00 a linear foot) and it would be about 4 weeks before they would get to our fence. A week and a half later they came and put in the cedar posts 3 ' deep and three days after that they had two emplyee's come and and put up the dog eared cedar fence, 6" high, in about 45 min. the fence was not per-built but on sight build. They are a bit pricey but the fence is straight and even, looks professional.  
  Workers answered our questions and were polite, cleaned up the area  and took away some of the old fence we had not removed.

They were very professional. Their work was very clean. We will use them in the future and refer them to others.

They did a good job. The work went well. I spent about $700 on them. I will use them again in the future.

I asked around in town for a good fencing contractor and Mano came highly recommended. I put the job out to 3 firms and Mano was quick to bid the job and walk through the options. I wanted a nice, unobtrusive fence that the neighbors would not object to. Mano had great black aluminum options, at a competitive price. He told me what to expect on timing when I told him he got the job and met his commitment. The yard was in great shape with minimal damage, despite the labor intensive job. I would recommend Mano to anyone.
