They were very good. They did an excellent job, the orginal installer had finished them and it cracked off the floor. The original installer would not fix the problem. So Denis came and completely sanded down the floors and put 4 coats of finish on them. They look great! They look far better than they originally looked.

The floor looks beautiful - they did a nice job. If there was anything I learned from this experience, it was probably to communicate more clearly. For example, I had separated some of the wood before they arrived, setting out pieces of wood that I thought shouldn't be used; I put these pieces into a separate stack (and in one case, in another room) - they ended up using some of the pieces I didn't think were good enough and actually went for search for the wood I had put in the other room because they didn't want to open up another box of flooring. Also, this is part of the reason my only "B" in the grade is for professionalism, because Dennis did go into some other rooms of the house other than the room they were contracted to work on - maybe that's to be expected, but it did bother me a bit. However, the work quality is excellent, and the flooring pieces they used look good with the rest of the floor. And they were all very friendly and personable. The first day, Dennis had two installers with him, and they were exceptional. The second day, it was just Dennis and one of the installers. They stacked the old floor and underlayment by my back door, but it was cut in the right size for my garbage service to haul away and so it was pretty easy for me to bundle up and get rid of. All in all, I was happy with the work.

He is just wonderful. He is excellent! I thought I wanted dark wood floors, and he convinced me I didn't and he mixed up a stain that is just gorgeous. Everyone remarks how beautiful the floors are. He is extremely professional.

A PLUS PLUS!!! HE IS EVEN GOING TO COME BACK OVER THE SUMMER TO MAKE SURE THAT THE FLOOR IS EXPANDING CORRECTLY. HE IS METICULOUS IN HIS WORK AND PAYS GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. GREAT WORKMANSHIP! HE WAS AMAZINGLY NEAT AND CLEAN. HE IS A PERFECTIONIST AND THE FLOORS LOOK FABULOUS! HE WAS ON TIME, DID GREAT WORK, AND I COULDNT BE HAPPIER!
