John at the store was excellent to work with. We were shown multiple carpets from several manufacturers and were allowed to take samples home for as long as needed. He worked with us regarding the price so we could stay within our budget. The employee who came out to measure, as well as the installers, both arrived at the agreed upon time. Installers worked very quickly, were courteous ans professional, installation looks great and they cleaned up before they left. 
Bottom line: Fair price for a quality product, no hidden costs, excellent work done on time, courteous and professional.

Demo and installation was perfect.  John Zicirelli was our rep at Carpetland and he had three people including the installer come out to measure and give us the details of how things were going to work.  John uses Jeff Lunde to install hardwood and I would recommend Jeff over anyone else I have ever used.  Jeff does excellent work and will make sure you are happy with everything before he signs off on it.  His experience is priceless when looking and installing hardwood.
John also does a great job from start to finish.  He was very detailed and exact on everything.  I highly recommend Carpetland and specifically John.  Make sure you ask for him.

Very happy with the result. I have animals that have indoor accidents from time to time. I had no choice but to go with top of the line stain protect pad and carpet. I did a lot of shopping, all over Racine and Kenosha. Carpetland beat the highest estimate by 1,000.00 and the 2nd to lowest by 250.00. I got the same name brand material for a great price.

I shopped around several stores for living room and master bedroom carpeting, and Carpetland was where we ended up making a purchase.  Having worked with dozens of contractors during the construction of my home, my expectations are, unfortunately, never very high. It is a delight when a service provider exceeds your expectations, as Carpetland did with mine.  The showroom and range of selection of flooring products is probably the widest in this geographical area, without having to drive to Milwaukee or Illinois.  The salesman who assisted me, Joey Hernandez, was extremely knowledgeable about all available products and padding.  He made very appropriate recommendations for my needs, and he did not try to sell me something in which I was not interested.  He also sensed that I did not have a lot of time to spend on this project, and he made the selection and scheduling process as easy and efficient as possible.  I requested that they schedule the installation with their most experienced technician, as the rooms have lots of specialized angles and are of an odd size.  Joey made sure to arrange this for me, and he even showed up the day of the installation to assist the technician by helping to carry extra long carpet rolls into our house.  Rarely do service providers in this area seem to go the extra mile in this way - impressive. The installation was performed by a fellow named Lenny, who worked fast and efficiently while I was at home with my son and 2 big dogs.  He was well-mannered and friendly, and the quality of his workmanship was very good.  I could see that he ran into some things that he did not expect, but he did not complain or even comment on them.  Overall, our experience with Carpetland in Racine was very good, and I recommend the salesperson and installer with whom we worked.  They even followed up their service with a hand written thank you card!

Overall it was okay.  At the last install we had a problem with the salesman getting annoyed with me because he told us not to rip out our hardwood floor so the bedrooms and hallway wouldn't have a tripping hazard for our son.  Turns out the installer told our salesman to have us rip out the hardwood so when they got here in the morning I was told it had to come out.  So there were phone calls made and our salesman was off that day and when we spoke he said we should reschedule the one room.  I got a bit annoyed with his attitude because I didn't want to have to move our furniture 3 more times.  Call me lazy if you want but it's hard to live with a plywood floor for a week because someone screwed up.  Throw in life with a 2 yr old and you can see how frustrated I was.  The installers were fantastic and completely amazing.  He felt so bad for me ripping out the floor that he canceled his next morning appt. to come back and install the carpet.  Talk about customer service.  Now if only the salesman could learn from the installers.  So I went to pay my final bill and spoke with the manager and he was very nice and just let me vent.  An oddity in todays world.  He apologized several times and said he's speak to the salesman.  He did and the salesman called me a week later and I said my peace and he did apologize, but there were a few excuses thrown in there.  "I was off that day and was running errands".  Whatever.  I told him that I hoped he would never treat another customer the way he treated me.  (or that his wife would be treated that way by someone else, amazing how you have to make things personal for stuff to sink in)  I would have had more respect for him if he had admitted that he screwed up in the beginning, but he didn't.  End of story.  We will be shopping around the next time we get carpet.  That's a lot of money to spend to be treated that way in the end.  We do appreciate the way the manager handled it too. 

Carpet installer arrived at given time, called first, very professional, removed old carpet and cleaned before and after carpet was installed, very satisfied with Joey and mack's work!

The experience was very good.

They are local so I just heard about them by word of mouth.  The workers and sale staff were very courteous and they went out of their way to find the closest to what I wanted.  They really worked with me.  It is good carpeting and I feel like I got a good deal on it.

Sales staff and installation teams were very professional, timely and couteous.  We had a floor squeak problem in one spot after (I missed before) install (on Friday) and the install lead was back out early Monday (before our movers arrived) to help me silence it!  Very satisfied with all aspects of purchase.

This was the second time that I used them. They were prompt, and the work was really great. When I showed it to tenants after the carpet was replaced, they were pleasantly surprised because it looked nice. There weren?t any snags or any strings hanging out. There was no mess for me to clean up, which I appreciated. They paid attention to detail and were good on their word. Their price was consistent and fair. My husband negotiated the price with them. It was at least a couple of thousand dollars because it was for a huge two-story apartment. I got what I paid for; if I had wanted fancy carpets, I would have had to pay a little bit more, but I got a commercial type one, which was fine for what I needed. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Everything went better than we could have imagined.? We would definitely use them again.
