First they got the date wrong for the installation of living room carpet. They were suppose to be here on Wednesday between 8-10am. That timeframe came and went. I called them and they said my appt was for Friday, which I would NOT have made it that day, as I was working. When she told me I would have to reschedule, I got a little upset since my entire living room was cleared out. They rearranged some things and still came out later that day. Then the installers left a mess. Carpet shreds at every entrance to bedrooms/bath/kitchen, all over the front porch and all along the edges of the carpet. Also carpet sticking out from under the metal strips that seperate the different rooms. I had to trim them myself. I found they did not secure one corner of the carpet, about a square foot or more. I called them back on Tuesday, and they said they would get back to me. They did not. On Friday I called them back again. Then they came right out and stapled down the loose carpet. I am happy with the carpet, but too many issues.

The whole experience went well, from start to finish. My husband and I went to the store to look at our options. Initially we were looking for new carpeting for our 3 bedrooms, but ended up really liking laminate wood flooring for our living room as well. Joe, one of the sales people, was really helpful to us. He showed us all our options and helped us choose the best option for us, without pushing the most expensive ones. When we left the store, we had an estimate in hand so we could discuss and get back to them.
We went back a few days later to let them know we were planning to proceed. They got us approved for 0% financing right away and we were able to set up our appointments (two weeks out).
The installations took place over 2 days (laminate on day 1, and carpeting on day 2). The installers, Steve and Jeff Jansen, arrived on time and were very professional. They introduced themselves to me, and got to work right away. They answered all my questions and didn't mind when I watched. They cleaned up after themselves by sweeping the laminate flooring and sweeping our garage floor (where they were cutting wood) when they were done. The laminate flooring took all day to finish (around 8am-6pm) and the carpeting took about half a day (around 8am-12pm).
I was really impressed overall with our experience there and would definitely recommend them to others.

Overall, I have the floor I ordered. The installers cut the subfloor directly outside the back door,leaving sawdust to be tracked into the house until spring. They should've done it anywhere else in the large, unoccupied rear year. I had a feeling of mistrust before they started, apparently conveyed by the salesman who didn't ask if someone would be home when we scheduled an install date, didn't ask where the key would be, didn't ask if I had a dog. I felt it was unprofessional for a company that does this for a living.
