n I am pleased with the workmanship but am unhappy with the charges. I was given an estimate of $325.00 wheel bearing replacement. After the job had started I was told that the axle boot was was cracked and asked if I wanted it replaced. The axle cost was $129.00 but the charge for the wheel bearing and axle went from $325.00 to $564.00. I went back to inquire why I was charged $110.00 for labor when the front end was already apart, I was told that they used a computer estimating program that calculates all of their charges. I was refunded $30.00. My complaint is that I was charged $110.00 for 10 minutes of additional work. I would not have had the boot replaced if I had known about the exorbitant labor cost to install it. Maybe I would consider going to Klam's for an alignment, but I feel they overcharge for that as well. When you are told that additional work is recommended, I would beware as to what this additional work will cost and it's necessity. I am sorry to say that my experience is an example of someone made a sale but lost a customer. In addition to losing my business, they have also turned my recommendation into a suggestion to go somewhere else for you service.
