I felt that the inspection of the property was very lax. He took many pictures of items and some notes. It took about one hour to inspect 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, garage, & storage building. Upon receiving the report I had questions of value on some items. I was a buyer for an antique dealer in California for a time so I had some idea of values. Not doing it for awhile I checked items on ebay & other sources used by dealers. He did not name specific items such as a Morris Recliner, East Lake Chairs, or 20's set. He also does not do jewelry! I was not told this up front when I got the report there was no jewelry listed which had been insured for over $20,000.00. When I contacted him inquiring about some items pricing I was told that was what they would be worth in his mind. I tried to ask what guide or pricing books he used & was told to bring him to court for answers. I feel that if I am paying the bill for his services he should answer reasonable questions about his findings.
