Business highlights
Services we offer
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services emphasizing diagnostic and therapeutic services such as in-house lab, x-ray, surgery (radio-surgery), dentistry, ultrasound and pharmacy and boarding services as well as nutrition and behavior counselling for the benefit of you and your pet.
Services we don't offer
Some of the most specialized services we do not offer in house, but should it be necessary we will help you find those services through our network of specialty clinics and teaching hospitals with whom we consult regularly.

"Thank you for the nice rating. Cherrie Metzner, Practice Manager"
"Thank you for rating us highly overall. We do try very hard to make sure pets in our care are given the best care we can give and it is nice to know that you feel that you “don’t have to worry about the pets” when you leave them with us. I also wanted to take a moment and let you know that we do acknowledge that our prices may be a bit higher than other local boarding facilities; but as the only Veterinary Supervised facility in our area we take the responsibility of caring for pets (both healthy and those with medical conditions such as Diabetes) very seriously. We start with a health assessment when they check in, done by our CVTs so we have a baseline idea of weight, temperament and general health. Then we monitor each pet’s daily intake of both food and water and we weigh pets daily to watch for trends of loosing or gaining weight. We also acknowledge that many boarded pets, at any type of facility, have the potential to become ill with urinary tract infections and diarrhea which can result from changes of schedule, litter box and potty habits, as well as stress from such a new and unique environment so we document body functions (urinating and defecating) in order to minimize or negate those potential problems. Our kitty patrons may even be given pheromone therapy to relieve stress. (Feliway tm) Doing all these detailed care items and documenting them takes time, takes special people who love what they do, and raises our prices but we feel strongly that everyone’s pet deserves the detailed services and special attention they get while here. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to help you care for the girls, we truly enjoyed having them here and hope to see them again. I hope this brief explanation helps you feel better about the value of what you are paying for when they stay with us. Cherrie Metzner, Practice Manager"
