Will start with the salesman Theodore he was excellent did a great job very knowledgeable gave us the dates of when the windows and patio door would be in. We ordered these in September of 2022. We were told that they would be installed by November. We were super excited. The windows are made to order and they came in a month early. From that point on it became an entire nightmare constant phone calls leaving messages sending emails to my contact person who was Ben who I think has been fired it. Took me over a couple of months to finally get his boss his name and phone number and email that was Mike he was useless as well. So the windows came in early and they kept making excuses why they couldn't have a crew come out and put them in finally in March of 2023 they got accrued to come out here and put the windows in and patio door Rick's team did a fantastic job and they were over the top friendly and courteous. More problems continued as they were installing the trim was the wrong color it was supposed to be a sandstone and a sent white and it was written up white. We live in a condo so It did not fly with the association obviously. The installer Rick was on top of this immediately before the even put the wrong trim on he knew the color was wrong they would do nothing to get him. The right color the day of the install fast forward. I emailed Ben and called Mike and left messages saying that this was wrong and in the needed to be addressed immediately. This process probably took another couple of months before It was done right. I could not get anything going through Ben or Mike at this time so I reached out to Theodore our sales representative. His idea was to have me hire a handyman To Do the trim work and he proceeded to tell me that it was written app white on the order. I understand that it was white on the order that was his fault. He did not put the right color on. He did not want to admit that so tried to say that it was our mistake. Once again thanks to Rick he helped had this off and finally got the correct trim installed on the outside of all the windows and patio door. The whole or deal for 5 simple windows and a patio door has been exhausting. I would never recommend this company to anyone unfortunately. Before I realize this we had a good friend of ours get an estimate. Thank God they did not go with the company. The salesman left a window at their house never did come pick it up after multiple calls. And I still have yet to receive my 100 dollars for the referral After many calls and emails Pamela who has been excellent has said that our check should be on its way with the next batch fingers crossed. Thank you Pamela for all your support and help once I was able to get your email and number..

Still cannot lock some windows and some need two people to push and then another flips the lever. Installation was a disaster. They were over a month late and then when it was bitter cold in early 2021, we said we would wait. We were pushed saying our installation would then be delayed another month or two if we did not take that slot. They said the cold was no issue and they do it all the time. We probably paid another $500 - $100 in heating costs as the opposite side of our house from the new windows and upstairs was really cold while they re-did our great room. The contracted installers side it is ridiculous that they force customers to get windows installed in those conditions. We also had a delay then as our installers had a side business of snow plowing. So they had to go plow after some snow which delayed us further. Absolutely terrible.

Installers were inexperienced, damaged siding and woodwork, did not wear masks, poor communication. Still trying to have some resolution. Would never use Great Day again! Don't pay using free financing, because you'll never get any money back if you are not happy. We should have been smarter and looked at reviews even though work done in the past was excellent. Totally different experience this time.

Terrible the salesman wrote wrong trim color ,unfortunately when windows were put in . We were in the middle of snow storm, spouse was unable to see color of trim, signed paperwork. They tell you there going to call at certain time and they never call you. I had to call them many times,without any results to fix the problem or give a discount to fix trim on windows.

Good quality windows and most of the installation was good. They failed to paint the window stop trim as ordered, they did not completely caulk 1 window and di not properly instal the trim on 2 windows. I have emailed pictures of their failures and called once, but I have not been contacted to fix the problems.

I think the installation was a little bit better the second time, but they were both very good. There were two guys that came out. It took more than one day, about a day and a half. They were high quality windows. The installation was done well. Not much more you can say when everything goes the way it is supposed to.

The doors are wonderful. When it got sticky, they sent a guy out. He cleaned it up and told me what to do to maintain it. So I'm happy with it. It wasn't perfect. It was expensive. The screen door that comes with it is funky. I give that a 'C.' The screen door is not a good door. It comes with the door. So you've got to live with it.

Andy was our salesperson and Will was the installer.

Andy was great to work with, friendly, prompt and very helpful in choosing the right door for our 100 yr. old house.

Will, the installer, was outstanding.   He arrived promptly, explained what he was going to do ? I?ve never met a more dedicated employee/tradesman.  Will had to remove the 100 yr. old wooden doorframe ? this was NOT going to be a simple project. However, you could tell Will?s worked on older homes before, he never gave up.  If he ran into a problem he would assess the situation and start in.  We were also hoping to reuse the screen door since it wasn?t that old, which Will was able to save. Will did an unbelievable job ? NO ONE else could have nor wanted to tackle this job. We now have a beautiful installed door that we are very proud of - thanks to Will and his outstanding/professional work.

My sliding patio door is considered oversize for a 2-panel and I needed a company that would make a custom size door that would fit the opening.  Stanek, by Great Day Improvement said they could do it.  My salesman, Dwight, was wonderful.  He  knows his product and helped me narrow down the choices to what would work best in my home.    His demonstrations of the different types of glass available and the different coatings were excellent and informative.   I am a very detail oriented person and he answered all of my questions to my complete satisfaction.  The installation team, Nick and Carlos,  did a great job of replacing the structure under the doors that had rotted out and squaring up the framing for the new doors.  They are excellent carpenters.  It was a very cold day in January and I was worried about having a giant hole in my house for hours.  They put up a floor to ceiling heavy plastic wall and the temperature in the house remained comfortable.  When they finished they demonstrated the door, explained how to clean and maintain it and did a thorough clean up of the job site.  The new screen door did not fit properly so they ordered a new one for me.  There were a few minor issues and Dwight contacted their service person, Brian,  who called me for an appointment to take care of them and install the new screen door which fits perfectly now.  He also fixed a piece of trim that cracked and repined all the trim.  He did a wonderful job and I am very happy.
 I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.  They were knowledgeable, professional, punctual and responsive to my needs.  I looked at many other companies and this product was solidly constructed and priced very well.  The triple pane glass with argon gas kept me toasty warm when the temperature outside was below zero.  I chose the oil rubbed bronze hardware and it is even more beautiful than the sample.  I love my new door!

I like them. I'm considering having the rest of them done; I'm not sure yet. I got them from Angie's List. They were good. I liked the salesman. I liked his personality. I had a few issues with the windows, and he came and fixed it. I went with them because of the price and personality. My son said that this was a little bit better. I know that Angie's List has another company in there too, and I like them. I have had work done from the other company too before. They were a little bit more expensive and they didn’t have exactly what I wanted. After everything was fixed, it was good. With regard to price, I don’t know; my son says that they are a better deal than these other guys, so I imagine it's good. I loved that salesman; he was so nice and so good. Whenever there is something wrong with the window, I call one of the workers and he comes over in the evening after he finishes his job. Before he even goes home, he comes. I like him; he is good. With regard to quality, I have only had them for a couple of months, but so far it's fine. I'm very short and have a very bad back, and opening the windows is much easier. I didn’t like some of the office people; they were clear about things. But the workers and the salesmen were all nice. They listened to me, but without actually doing anything about it. Their punctuality was real good. They would call.
