 + -1 moreI called based on a referral from a friend. I called twice for info and Brad one of the owners answered himself and asked questions. When I decided to go ahead with the service he came out that day to install. My dad was resistive to getting the service and Brad was good with talking with Dad and explaining how the system worked. At the end of the install he took some time at the kitchen table just to talk to Dad which I appreciated. He tested it from all areas of the house. The call center is in Florida which I guess doesn't matter as long as someone responds when needed. I liked that they would call a list of our numbers first before calling 911. Some systems just call emergency. Cost was $50 for install and $34.95, paying three months upfront. Then it's month to month. The equipment must be returned when you are done with the service. He was about a half hour late to install, but called to let me know, and he did come out the day I called.
Description of Work: Installed a medical alert alarm system for me at my dad's house. This is the type of alarm where the user wears a pendant with a button on it. The button can be pushed to summon help. This is accomplished through a base unit that works like a speaker phone. If the button is pushed someone comes on to ask what help is needed. If there is no response they call 911. If there is a response then they can call family and friends and will call down a list of numbers until a family member or friend answers to attend to the situation. I was surprised that it did work in almost all areas of my Dad's house, which is a large tri-level. One bathroom on the second floor could not be accessed by the voice unit - but he could still push the button an summon help
