FIREWOOD FARM

Made extra effort to confirm firewood was seasoned for at least 1 year. Vendor swore during phone conversation the wood was seasoned for 18 months. Delivery person look directly in my eyes and swore the wood was seasoned for 18 months. I started a fire with some wood I had form last year, got a really good hot fire going and threw on one of the new logs. It started to hiss and drip water out both ends. I grabbed a few more form the new pile and they all did the same thing. Vendor said, sorry, it must have come from the bottom of the pile. See my first sentence above. Vendor claimed he would make it right, replaced the oak that was not seasoned with balck locust that was not seasoned and would not burn. Vendor was indescribably rude to my wife and then me when we asked him to take back the wood and refund the money.
