When I got a job out of town, we needed to sell our house.   We knew that some of the decorations were outdated and wondered about things like repainting, re-wall papering, changing out counter tops and replacing carpets.   Both realtors we interviewed recommended Leah.  At first I thought it would be a waste of money to have someone tell me where to put furniture, but my wife and I called a talked to her and decided to use her introductory service.  She listened to what we wanted on the phone and then came prepared to give us detailed advice when she was here.  She helped us figure out to put our money into getting rid of the wallpaper and repainting with neutral colors that tied together the floors, the fireplace and the furnishings.  She also helped us figure out what furniture to leave and what to put in a storage shed.   After the painting, we elected to have her back a couple times on an hourly basis.   During these sessions, she helped us rearrange the remaining furniture and used existing pictures, picture frames and accents to decorate the house in a tasteful way that would let the best features of the house come through.    I fully believe her work helped us sell the house quickly (2 weeks) and at a price we were happy with.   Definitely worth the money to have a stager.  If my new house was close by, I'd hire again to help me get the colors and furniture right.
