It went very well. Dave met with me almost immediately to discuss the two projects. It was obvious that he understood the problem we were having with the back walkway and was confident he could resolve it. He was also very creative in coming up with a solution for the front porch stoop. The house was for sale, and shortly after I hired him, we got an offer. The buyer then communicated with him about a design for the back walkway. He was very accommodating in working with the buyer as well as me. Since I had a deadline for making the repairs, he was great at fitting me in, despite his busy schedule.
The finished products (walkway and stoop) looked great. We then hired them to do a project at our own home.

We decided to replace the paving stone walkway and sitting area with poured concrete. I called to arrange a meeting and he was at our house in about 10 minutes. Asked how we heard of him and we showed him Angies List. He'd never seen it before. Written estimate in about 3 days. A little lag between when we thought it would get done and actual completion date due to them piggybacking it with another project nearby. No complaints. We had a friend who does this type of work check out the job and he said they did a good job.

I called for an estimate and was visited by the owner of the company after making an appointment with him to view the site. He was very personable and professional and gave me an estimate verbally right away and followed up with a written contract within two days. I scheduled the work to be completed and was called the day before the scheduled date and asked if it would be OK for the crew to come early in the morning (6:30 a.m.) to begin the project. I agreed and the crew arrived on time the following morning and began. The crew was very friendly and professional and worked hard all day, not finishing until about 6:30 p.,m. The entire project was completed in one day except for about 10 minutes which was completed early the following morning. The owner of the company made several visits to the site during and at the end of the day to check on the progress and quality of the work and to insure the site was properly cleaned up. I can't say enough good things about the crew. They were a joy to have around. They did things for me that were not specified in the contract such as removing several bushes with their skid steer which saved me a lot of time and backache. They used their equipment to move a big pile of dirt from a neighbors yard and spread it where I needed it in my back yard without any additional cost to me. They even helped my wife and I put our grandchildrens hand prints and initials in the wet cement. The entire project was painless and fun for us. I would not hesitate to use them again for any construction project, not just concrete work.
