Old tub faucet that was install wrong finally failed and was leaking down the wall and pouring into the basement. I was prepared with my replacement fixtures.  I cut out the old faucet and spout and cut the opening for the new ones. They came in and did the attachment soldering for the spout, shower and faucet pieces.  He also fixed a leaking shutoff valve in the basement and installed a drain valve in a line so I can clear the water line to the outside spigot, located in a unheated part of the basement.

We noticed a stream of water flowing from the water heater in the basement on a Saturday.  Sammons isn't open on weekends, but I called and left a message that we needed the water heater replaced ASAP.  I shut down the water heater over the weekend, and went without hot water for the weekend in case the old water heater would start leaking worse. 
I received a phone call from Sammons promptly on Monday morning when they opened, and they offered to come immediately to replace the water heater.  I would say they arrived in about 30 minutes, and it took less than an hour for them to complete the installation of the new heater.  Excellent, professional work has been my experience with them on all occasions, I call them for all my home plumbing needs. 

They were prompt and they did a good job.

Last night I came home to a wet basement which I traced back to my water heater.  After a night of mopping and shop vacuuming I called Sammons right away at 0800.  They were polite and friendly on the phone and said they would send someone out right away.  Wade was at my house within the hour and took out and replaced my old water heater. He worked efficiently explaining things along the way.  I was very thankful to havesomeon come out so quickly to help.  I haven't gotten the official billing statement so I will update as far as pricing in concerned.

They are pretty popular and carry Kohl. 

I actually got his name from Angie's List. I had done some comparing but he was the closest one to our home and he was on Angie's List, which is why we really picked him. I was satisfied with his work.

During the Great Oshkosh Flood of 2008 our water heater was standing in 8 inches of sewer backup in the basement. We needed a new unit immediately and called Sammons. They arrived within a few hours and installed the new unit immediately. This was a crisis time for plumbers and they responded with professionalism and courtesy.

We had a leak in our home and needed it repaired, so we wanted to know where the leak was and what it would cost to repair it. They came to look at the situation and found the leak, which was a long crack in a pipe; so far, so good. However, they refused - even after we asked three more times in separate phone calls - to give us an estimate for repairs, with no reason given for why they could not provide an estimate. Because this struck us as extremely sketchy, we decided not to go with any further repairs by Sammons. Weeks later they sent us a bill for $200. Their representative had spent no more than 1 1/2 hours in our home, work that did not result in one of the two things we had asked for, which was an estimate of total repair costs. The bill was not itemized and I have no idea how they came up with charging us $200 for 1 1/2 hours and a refusal to provide the estimate requested. When we contacted them to discuss the billing they were evasive and defensive (and claimed that we had never requested an estimate!). I would never use this service again and would definitely not recommend them to anyone else.
