Great service!! Wonderful people to work with. Mike and his son, Nick, were great. We purchased a new home. It was a foreclosure, so, there were several problems. Each time I called to have them come out, they were there either the same day or the next day. In the spring, we were out of town and had a problem with the outside faucets. I called Mike and they came out to the house almost immediately. Very nice people. Very professional. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!

We had a very bad back-up in kitchen sink that somehow overnight ended up leaking from a pipe under our sink and onto our floors all over the kitchen. I had tried everything before calling Mike at Ludwig Plumbing on a neighbor recommendation. Mike came very quickly and cleaned out the entire system. He also fixed a leak I had on one of our bathroom faucets while at our home. Very happy with the entire process and he will be the plumber that I will always call in the future!

We’ve used Ludwig’s Plumbing in Oshkosh several times over the past 8 years. Deferring to Mike Ludwig’s advice (Mike is the owner of the business), we’ve accepted some questionable and costly recommendations in the past. For example: we agreed to the repair of our ten-year old water heater at a cost of several hundred dollars rather than simply, and logically, purchasing a new one. That produced a hefty bill for Ludwig but left us with an old water heater that should have been replaced rather than patched up. Good for the plumber, bad for the home owner. Well, Ludwig’s at it again. We had him out a few weeks ago to assess a shower leak in our master bathroom. He diagnosed the problem and said a replacement part was needed. I specifically asked him to get me a quote before ordering anything (we wanted to be sure the replacement part wasn’t outrageously priced). Despite that specific direction provided, a few weeks passed and a new part showed up on my door step along with a bill for $140.00 (we were home at the time, but Ludwig decided to just drop it and run. Nice…). We sent the part back. Incidentally, I called Kohler (the shower’s manufacturer) and they shipped me the needed part for FREE (no cost for the part, no cost for shipping) and we installed it successfully in about 5 minutes. Thank you, Kohler! Don’t use Ludwig’s Plumbing in Oshkosh. They are cheesy, deceptive business people and they’ll do whatever is necessary to selfishly drive up their own labor charges. Find another plumber; there are plenty of good ones in the Oshkosh area (see www.angieslist.com for recommendations).
