Very pleased with Family Man Painting. They were on time, finished earlier than they thought, paint job was great and will be using again in the future.

Everything about this contractor's service was terrible from start to finish. I'm very angry! From the beginning communication was difficult, with his cell phone dropping the connection at least three times. When he did connect and set a date and time to come to my home and look at what the job entailed, he was very late. Thereafter, he either didn't show up at all to pick up the doors or was very late on several occassions.
When the painted doors were delivered, each of them was splattered with dark paint splotches from someone else's project and the installer assured me that he would touch up the paint job after he got the doors up and in place. Turns out that my doors were covered in drop clothes for delivery that were still wet with paint from another project. By the time the doors were all hung, it was after seven at night and the light was too dim to truly see what a botch of a job the whole thing was. I did see enough to know that it was bad. I paid the installer and sent him away never wanting anyone from this operation to ever darken my door again.
In the bright light of the next morning, now being able to see how awful it was, I began what for me was about three days of work, sanding some of the splotches which were as thick as bird droppings, and trying to fix up all of the paint drip spots from the spraying that weren't caught and brushed out, primer painting over all of the dark paint marks and door edges that were never hit by any paint at all and proceeding to brush paint myself all of these doors with the two coats of paint that I had contracted for, painting the twelve door knobs, which he just decided not to paint, and installing them by myself, just to try and salvage this whole project.
I have no idea where all of the A ratings that your other members came from because they certainly did not meet the same character that I did. He's no business man, communicator or painter for that matter. He wouldn't know the difference between a drop cloth and a tack cloth and I would never recommend him to anyone. I will also be very wary of the reviews from your service in the future, if at all.

All workers were very professional, worked quickly, but expertly...and they stayed until they were finished and cleaned up nicely after finishing. Definitely were not clock watchers! We initially had contacted them for the inside painting but once that was finished we looked to them to do the outside things that we were originally going to do ourselves. Free estimates and timely, expert work is what you can expect with the Family Man group.

I found an ad for Family Man painting in the newspaper, called and left a message. Derek promptly called back and set up an appointment for an estimate. He came right on time, we discussed my preferences, and he gave me a quote ( which included paint, and was far below what we thought it would cost) . I called him to do the job and we were able to get it done the following week. Again very prompt, and organized. I was pleased he brought a crew member specifically to handle my request of how I wanted certain areas painted. All the employees were great and worked well together. My project was finished in less than the time originally quoted, and it turned out fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone looking to have painting done.

I contacted Derek for an estimate on painting my office in my house. He arrived promptly, provided an estimate and we set a date for the job. On the agreed upon date, Derek again arrived promptly, began working and completed the entire job in less than 2 hours! The quality of the work was excellent and Derek was courteous, pleasant and professional throughout. He made sure I was pleased with the results, which I was, and I gladly paid him the reasonable and fair amount he had originally quoted me. The paint dried quickly and I was back working in my office that same evening. Derek left me his card and told me to call with any questions, comments, etc. I can't get over how well the job was done in such a shore time. I am completely satisfied with the work done by Family Man Painting and would definitely call them again!

I had requested a quote on the whole house. I decide that i could not afford that much. I then had just the living room, dinning and den done. Derek was honest and even talked him self out of some of the work considering the amount of money I had to spend on the job. He gave me hints on how to patch the areas that i had decided not to do. Over all he did a great job and i would highly recommend him any time.
