Started off fast, once he got going. Worked constantly most of the time. Worked closely with insurance adjuster. Good liaison between insurance company and us. Was very helpful. Quality work, good siding crew. Would use again but very busy. Nice guy, easy to deal with.Thanks Steve for using quality materials and taking care of extras and incidentals

I used Nelson Roofing (Steve Parker) last year and was surprised at how customer-focused he was. First, he was reasonably priced, actually close to my lowest bid. Second, he came highly recommended from our neighbors. So why was I surprised? 
Upon first meeting Steve he was very confident and a bit bold. This sort of scared me but everyone had such good experiences with him I decided to get over it and do business with him.
We had our aluminum siding, gutters, roof and door replaced. They were very efficient at getting to our job and getting the job done. The roof looked GREAT. We did, however, have a problem with the siding. I was nervous to call him because I thought like all other vendors, he'd try to tell me it was fine and convince me "that's how it's supposed to look". I called him and he said he'd come check it out. He called me about 30 minutes later and was telling me that the job was going to be entirely re-done. I wondered how he already knew, and lo-and-behold he was calling me from my front porch. Wow! I didn't have to point out every flaw and didn't have to suffer an arguement or a negotiation. He saw it, knew it and wanted it right. Who knew I was "living the dream" because I found a vendor who was actually honest and full of integrity? 
The next part made me like him even more... his sub who did the siding disagreed with him and walked off the job. Steve immediately got busy finding others and kept the problem as his own instead of making it mine. (Yeah!) He and his sub came to an agreement and the siding was redone. It now looked GREAT.
When it came to our door, his distributor forgot to put the order in and so it took an extraordinary amount of time. When we finally figured out what was wrong, he offered me a financial concession without me even asking.
I guess what I'm trying to say through all this is that I realized why he seemed so confident and bold upon first meeting him. He really does know his stuff and was willing to make it better than right. I would recommend him to a friend.
