It was well worth driving the chairs to Oostburg, where Mr. Frier is located. Vern Frier's work is excellent and the cost very reasonable when compared to other providers of this service (which I did). My 4 teak chairs are 34 years old and they look like new. The other four chairs were garage sale finds with beautiful wood that needed attention. They are beautiful also. Perhaps most importantly, all 8 chairs are now strong. I will not have to worry when guests pull up to the dining table that a chair might break.

All 8 chairs are now as good, or better than, new. Mr. Frier completely disassembled each chair, cleaned out the old glue and re-assembled them. They are extremely sturdy. Four of the chairs needed more. He cleaned and did a surface refurbishing. They are beautiful. Mr. Frier works with an upholsterer who re-covered four chair seats and did a meticulous job. I couldn't be more pleased.

THE OWNER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL - EXPLAINED HOW TO FIND HIS PLACE WHEN WE CALLED. HE DID THE WORK PROMPTLY AND ALSO REPAIRED A PREVIOUS BOTCHED REPAIR. CHAIR IS NOW GOOD AS NEW.
