Work was done professionally. However, one part was not done correctly, and as I moved the mulch aside to clearly show where they missed putting an opening for a sump draining, I discovered they had taken my grass sod and just dumped it under the mulch they were laying down to extend it. As a result, I had grass and weeds coming up from the newly "mulched" area under my trees for the rest of the summer.
In addition, the supposed chemical treatment of the weeds in a play area of my backyard was completely ineffective; I ended up having to manually de-mulch, pull up all the weeds, and re-treat the area to keep it from being an unsightly weed patch. I hired Marty's to do this for me, and their did not deliver for me.
I would not use them if you want deliver of requested services in the areas of mulching or weed treatment - they either don't know how to do it or will cut corners to make it look nice for the immediate term, but you'll suffer the results of a poor job and have to redo it yourself within a few months. Very disappointed. Not sure if they do this level of work for regular customers (this was our first - and only - experience with them) but this new customer will never be back to find out.
