Repair of oak wood floor. Reviewed floor and identified issue and how to proceed. Older floor so replacement materials were not available. Was able to correct problem. Floor looks very good. Would hire again.

The floors turned out great, they used high quality products, dustless sanding equipment and worked clean and orderly. Very professional.

Travis did a great job for me. My house is from the 1930's and has the original maple hardwood floors. During our original meeting Travis was very informative without talking down to me. I could tell that he knew his craft well simply by how he explained the process, recommendations and possible issues. Because all 4 rooms are connected and I had to be able to move furniture, I had to split the job into to sessions, but each one only took 3 days to complete. The floors turned out great and clean up nicely when needed. The price was right on par with other companies that I talked to.

It was a good experience. They are great. They are good at what they do. I would use them again.

I was in the middle of purchasing a home in Oshkosh (closed on 17 December 2012) and I wanted to have the hardwood floors refinished (300+sqft) prior to having my furniture arrive.  After reviewing various companies on Angie's List, I found Mark's Hardwood Flooring and I am so HAPPY I did!
I called Mark to schedule an estimate prior to closing on the home and he was able to work with my realtor to provide me an estimate within a day or two.  The estimate was fair and he was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule on short notice right before the Christmas holiday which I was thrilled about!
I was able to witness the stages of refinishing the floor and was thrilled with the professionalism of his employee, Aaron, and the craftsmanship that was put into the job.
I am thrilled with my floor! It looks brand new and flawless!

I showed them the rooms I wanted to have refinished. The existing floor had very deep gouges from where the previous homeowner had used a circular sander improperly. I also showed them the spot where the old cold air return grate was. Since I had installed a baseboard heating system I wanted the old grate to be covered up. I had purchased a 4' by 8' slab of gym flooring in the hopes that a piece could be cut to size to plug the hole. Not only did were they able to plug the hole but they took the time to pick through the repurposed strips and "feather" them in place to match the existing flooring. The end result was absolutely amazing. I am still unable to determine where the original flooring ends and the patch begins. They were happy to work with me to keep my expenses down by using my own material and the workmanship was right on target. I would definitely call them again.
