We needed to replace the front door and side light without ripping out the entire frame. Brian was helpful in making sure we connected with a local retailer to save us money on a new front door and side panel. He was very good at communicating and get the job done as soon as the door was delivered.  The only thing that bothered me was that I feel the job was not completed, because the touch-up paint arrived a week later and we were left to do all the touch-ups around the frame.  A job we still haven't found time to do in our very busy schedule. 

I was also surprised he did not offer an Angie's List discount.
Other than that, the door looks nice and we are pleased.  I just wish he would have come back to do the final touch-ups.

Brian did a complete demo of our 1970's ranch home kitchen. This included

• initial designs with 3D models;
• new electrical throughout including that addition of new pendants and ceiling recessed lights;
• new maple cabinets;
• plumbing work for new sink and dishwasher;
• New venting for HVAC to fit new layout
• Drywall work throughout to include matching the ceiling between the kitchen and dining room

End of the day we are very happy with our new kitchen and the work completed by Build it Right Carpentry. Brian was very prompt and courteous and a joy to work with . We will certainly be happy to work with his company again!

His favorite words are, 'Well make it work!" He uses this when it comes to price and quality. He stood behind his product.

They charged us $60 an hour. The job went pretty well and I would hire them again.

Brian, owner of Build It Right, was great to work with! He came to our home within a day of our initial call, and spent time listening to and getting information from us on what we wanted from our remodel, as well as giving suggestions to what would or wouldn't work in our kitchen. The project was completed within the budget proposed and also within the time frame he estimated. Any "surprises" that came up along the way were handled quickly and efficiently. He always left the work area (including the garage) clean and picked up, and had a great floor to ceiling dust containment "system" that kept the dust and dirt to a minimum. As the kitchen remodel progressed, some other home projects came up that Brian was able to bid on, and consequently, complete during the remodel. These include replacing a garage service door (he also ordered the door and picked it up), replacing trim in rooms beyond kitchen, and remodeling a small bathroom. We easily and highly recommend Brian. He is extremely professional, courteous, and respectful. He is meticulous in his quality of work and attention to detail. From start to finish, Brian made this project run smoothly. We are planning on remodeling our rec room soon, and won't hesitate a moment to hire Brian to perform the work.
