I am someone that needs to be very informed at all steps, and this transaction did not have that. I emailed and called with numerous questions and requests, many which were unanswered, or delayed in response. I did not receive my good faith estimate for over a month despite repeated requests, and when I did get it, it was wrong. I did not receive my HUD until 2 hours before closing, and so I had very little time to get my closing check ready. It then took over a month for me to get any information on my 2nd mortgage; there was no record of the account number on the closing forms I signed. I received the paperwork after my first payment was due. Neither lender nor broker could help. Many of these issues were due to the lender, but other items were the broker's fault. Price was decent, but I had to point out mathematical errors in calculations, and I am just learning this stuff. Employees were nice, but seemed a bit unorganized. If you like to be informed, I would go elsewhere.
