I would recommend getting quotes from other companies and going with the other company. I had my AC replaced and they guaranteed their work. My system kept failing and I would have to keep calling them over every few months to service it and the charges kept pilling up. I contact another company and they were able to fix it for a fraction of the cost (about 10% of what they were going to charge) and we have not had any issues since the other company fixed the issue. Thielmann group seems like a bunch of inexperienced people that try to milk you for money. I complained and someone from the company called me directly and was very aggressive and unprofessional on the phone. Do yourself a favor and find a different company for your needs. I regretted going to them since my family suffered several hot summer days and cold winter nights

They're very professional. Three guys came to install and it was all done within the day. They had to take out the old units and put the new ones in. They did a very good job.

We have used Roth for almost 9 years. We have annual furnace cleanings done and we also had a central ac unit installed by them in 2009. I've done price comparisons on the annual service and when we had the ac installed, Roth is a little more expensive but we stayed with them due to a good reputation. In November 2015, we had an annual furnace tune up and the service guy (same one that's come to our house as along as I can remember) told us that the furnace needed a pressure switch that he did not have with him and the company would have to order. He told us, and wrote on the invoice, that when the part came in the company would come out and put the part on quick and there would only be a charge for the part, not the labor. Well life happens and time goes on and Roth never called us and we forgot about the part needing to be replaced. December 2016, Roth came out to do the annual tune up, same service technician arrived on time. I should mention that we had to schedule an appointment 2 weeks out from when I called (which was before the holidays). I thought that was a bit long but whatever. Anyhow, the first thing the technician asked was if anyone ever called about the part or came out and put a new one on, of course the answer was no. About 15 minutes later the tech told us that the pressure switch actually broke when he touched it and he'd have to leave to go get the part (which was apparently at the shop) and come back to put it on. He came back a little less than an hour later and put it on and finished the work. A week later the bill arrived and it was $318.91, $108 for the tune up (this was what I normally expect and that's fine), $138 for the pressure switch (way over priced, I found new ones online for about $40), and $56 for the labor to put the switch on. I don't normally complain about bills or fees but in this situation I felt like I was being charged just to see how much they could get out of me. The $56 fee I found to be totally uncalled for. I called their office and was told that it was impossible that I was ever told last year that the labor fee would be waived to replace the part. I then asked why I was getting charged when the tech was already here and it wasn't our fault he didn't (or office staff) didn't check the service record before coming and bring the part with him to avoid leaving and coming back. The lady actually agreed with me but insisted I was never told last year that there would be no fee. Basically called me a liar, I find this to be totally unacceptable. The office lady said she would take $25 off of my bill, and asked if that made it better, I responded that it did not make it better, in fact it was almost worse because I felt like they were now admitting to the inconsistencies I mentioned. Anyhow I'll pay the bill but it's time to move on to a new company, which I stated on the phone and the response I got made me feel like Roth was indifferent whether I stayed with them or not. Business must be good to be able to just loose long time customers and act like it was not a big deal. Loosing a customer over an unjustified $56 labor charge and maybe another $50 for the over priced part (I'll say 50 because I know companies need to make a little on the part and that's still letting them double their money on the part) is just bad business. Well I hope they feel good about loosing a long time customer over $100. If they would have continued to treat us right we would be in the market for a new furnace in the next few years, oh well.
Response from Roth Heating Co Inc
"Roth Heating is genuinely concerned that Mr. [Member Name Removed] feels that he was overcharged. We felt that a half hour labor to pick up and install a new part was a reasonable charge. There are so many different pressure switches for the many brands of furnaces and we cannot carry every one on the trucks. The cost of the pressure switch was also correct for an OEM part from our local distributor. There may be someone online selling the part at a lower cost but we buy our parts locally (and it costs us substantially more than the $40 mentioned). I did offer Mr. [Member Name Removed] a discount of $25 towards the labor because I was trying to compromise between paying no labor and the $56 (1/2 hour) he was charged. I must charge labor for additional repairs and a markup on parts to be able to remain in business. I truly am sorry to lose Mr. [Member Name Removed] as a customer and I am sorry for the billing misunderstanding."

The service tech discovered that the cold air return system was NEVER FINISHED in our newer home! Thus the odd smell, it was actually pulling air from underneath our whirlpool tub in the masterbath. Obviously, we wanted this fixed ASAP. The serviceman said they would call to set up a time. A WEEK later we received a call from a woman saying that THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO DO THE WORK! That we would receive a call back in a couple of weeks when they weren't SO busy and then maybe they could fit us in.  Seriously?  It's Now OCTOBER, people (that was July)!  A couple of weeks has turned into SEVERAL months and we've not heard from them. I will never call this company or do business with them again.  We live in close proximity to Roth, We paid the bill immediately (as in to the serviceman on site, before he even left).
So, my only guess is that maybe they aren't equipped to do the work?  I'm sure they'll come back all whatever and say they just "forgot" about us.  Yeah, right.  There are many other HVAC people, some really great HVAC people in Oak Creek, Racine, Franklin, So. Milwaukee, and they think my money is just as green as everyone else's.
PS = your fees, outrageous.

The service was excellent. He is an excellent service technician. He was very prompt. He arrived right on time. He was great. He was very patient, kind, and explained everything. I could not have asked for a better service technician. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
