This was my first experience selling a house. I had accepted an out-of-state job and wanted to sell my home quickly. During the interview process, I was impressed by Marvin and Dianna's presentation, their straightforward communication style and candor about the current market. They answered my questions and were very friendly. I felt very comfortable with them, so I chose them to represent me. Using their experience and the resources of the company, they listed and promoted my house using the Internet, newspaper listings, open houses, TV spots, etc. About three weeks after listing my house, I accepted an offer. Shortly thereafter, I started my new job and came back to the house on weekends to pack. About two weeks before the scheduled closing, I came back to discover that the basement (finished) had flooded. I called a restoration service to begin the clean-up, but because I needed to leave town on Sunday to return to my job, Marvin and Dianna came by the house daily until the work was finished to let the workers in, check the progress and open the windows to air out the house. Most importantly, they were very reassuring, provided helpful advice and showed excellent problem-solving skills in working with the buyers' agent to come to a mutually satisfactory resolution for the closing, despite the setback. We were still able to close on the scheduled date. Communication throughout the entire process was great. They were very accessible and promptly responded to phone calls and emails. Overall, I could not have asked for better agents in terms of experience, knowledge, professionalism and service.
