 + -1 moreKevin is a genius, a true artist! Our floors were obscured by years of drum sanding, poor-quality finish, wear and tear. He brought them back to life and now the floors are truly works of art because the original quarter-sawn oak and the graining in the oak and maple is clearly visible. Kevin gave us an accurate estimate, and when unexpected expenses arose (such as quarter-round which was missing) he consulted with us and gave us a definite price before proceeding. He took great pride in his work and did the work himself - it was not assigned to a "crew." His price was below some other contractors. I would highly recommend this artist to anyone who is interested in beautiful hardwood floors.
Description of Work: Refinishing of red oak hardwood floors in 1 hallway and 3 downstairs rooms; laying new red oak hardwood and applying matching finish in 2 rooms; refinishing red oak stairs; refinishing 5 closets; refinishing 2nd floor maple hardwood hall and floors of 4 bedrooms in a 2,500 sq. ft. 2-story home.
