GRANDVIEW WINDOWS

Horrible experience.  We contracted Grandview to replace our front entry door and our two screen doors.  They tore apart our front historic molding during replacement of the main door.  They installed one screen door incorrectly so that it would not close without forceful pulling.  They failed include the door viewing hole, as contracted, and instead just brought it with them and told us we could do the install ourselves.  The finishes on the screen door were not as we had ordered (brushed nickel) and were brass instead, which does not match the entry door.  They refused to replace them with nickel.  They had ordered the wrong sized front screen door and we had to wait two weeks for the new one to arrive.  In the meantime, they threatened to put a lien on our house since we had not finished our payment.  We refused to finish out our payment until the door was installed.  Even after we had paid them in full, they continued to hound us, saying we had never paid.  After three certified letters a call to BBB and provision of proof of payment, they took $60 off (for our troubles) and stopped calling.  We had a terrible time getting them to ever respond to a call to try and straighten out the matter and when I drove to the listed address, there was no storefront, completely closed.  I would absolutely never recommend them.

Terrible, wrong windows installed initially, vinyl molding cracked, sales rep let go in middle of project, correct windows installed eventually after complaining to owner, sub-contractors used for install, still unsatisfied, Do NOT hire!!!

OVERALL, WE WERE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE. THERE WAS A DEFINATE DISCONNECT BETWEEN THE SALES PERSON THAT SOLD US THE WINDOWS AND THE END PRODUCT/SERVICE. ALTHOUGH WE ORDERED VENTED WINDOWS, THE FIRST SET DELIVERED TO THE HOUSE (A WEEK AFTER THE PROMISED DATE BECAUSE OUR ORDER WAS MISPLACED) DID NOT HAVE VENTS. THE OFFICE STAFF TROUBLE SHOOTING THE ISSUE WERE RESPONSIVE AND THE COMPANY DID OFFER US A $50 - $100 CREDIT OFF THE FINAL BILL FINAL BILL DUE TO THE INCONVENIENCE.
