B & D CUSTOM ROOFING

Bob was recommended to me by a friend. He returned my call within 24 hours and had an estimate for me within 48 hours. As a smaller house, he fit it in between other jobs and was in and out in a day and a half. 1 week from initial phone call to job completed.
The bid was $1000 lower than the next best bid from Angie's List reviewed roofers.
They found far more rotted panels than initially bid. He charged me for materials only, no extra labor for the deck panels. The roof looks great. No wavy lines, not strange angels. A fantastic job. Nice crew, polite, clean up was great.
I will use these guys again on my next house and the next and the next. Not sure how to make it more clear that Bob and his crew are AWESOME.

Currently no problem with main shingled roof(job was done 4/2006), BUT rubber roofs were peeling up exposing the underlying wood within 3 months of job completion. The contractor was notified. Took many phone calls to get contractor to even respond. One month later, a complaint was filed with better business bureau asking for refund. In response, a nasty message was left on MY voicemail by the CONTRACTOR'S wife. Finally the contractor came out to home to evaluate problem. He told us he'd be back to fix it the next day. This never happened. In December, 2006, I finally got an attorney involved. Interestingly, the day the attorney called the contractor, the contractor showed up at our house to re-evaluate. The contractor patched up the areas but I am still unhappy. The results are not aesthetically pleasing and I am sure we will be needing to replace the rubber roofs again. I am tired of this contractor. I just wish I could get a refund and have job done right!
