WOOLY'S HOME IMPROVEMENTS

I use him most frequently and it goes back 7-8 years. I am quite satisfied with him. There was faucet fixtures and a light fixtures. We changed the color from a flat gold to a flat satin look. I purchased the materials separately. The cost was his labor. We have been using him for about 8 years.

Wooly was A+++ in all areas: on time, fast, friendly, best prices. We are going to hire him (if he has time) to lay tile for us.

Very well. He was prompt and went from one project to another, crossing things off the list quickly but doing a thorough job. He was willing to pick up supplies or have me procure them and I opted for the latter so I could finance the purchases through Home Depot. He is very laid back, pleasant and reliable.

Wooly returned my call promptly.  He arrived on time at 8:00 Wednesday, August 5th.  Removed the wet bar, capped and sealed where needed.  Helped carry the 2 large parts into garage.  Scraped out the old grout by hand (powered tool might damage tiles due to spacing of tiles).  Came back 8/6 and 8/7 (2 hours each) to apply new grout and prime walls.  Wooly is so easy to talk to.  He tells you exactly what he's doing and why.  Very competent.  His rates are very reasonable, especially for the quality of work he does.  I wasn't sure what to do with the now uncovered area (where wet bar was).  He suggested hardwood flooring and told me where to buy and what types to stay away from and why.  I'll be calling him again when I purchase the boxes of flooring.  Completely satisfied with quality of work and cost.

It all went very well. Wooly has done many things for us and he always does a wonderful job. He's always prompt and neat and he's a very nice person.

He let us get materials ourselves which saved time and money.  He was also able to take care of it when we were at work which is awesome (I'm not able to take off much work with short notice).  He's accomodating and reasonably priced.

John , has done so many projects around the house as I stated above. All of which was done correctly and timely!

Exceptionally well.  He is my go to guy for anything I can think of.  He is pretty busy so you need to schedule in advance but well worth it.

The garage windows, painting, and storm door job went okay.  He wasn't able to finish the job at my sister's house but never came back.  He was called a few times but never answered the calls.  I understand if he wasn't interested in the job but then he should say that.  He did a lot of things for me in the past, but I guess now that he has a bigger clientele, he feels he doesn't have to communicate or provide good service.

Wooly did an excellent job.  He is no fuss, no frills, and casual,  which suits us just fine.  His workmanship was top-notch.  It only took him a day, and we're thrilled with the result.  We will definitely be using him again.
Wooly may seem to be hard to get a hold of, but he is a one-man operation who doesn't take calls when he is working, so that is completely understandable.  I actually think that is a good policy, because when he is working on your job and charging by the hour, you're not paying for him taking someone else's calls.  When I did need to speak to him,  I just left a message telling him he could call me back after 7.  He always called me back.
And when he is on the job, he is communicative.  I was travelling for work when he discovered an issue that went beyond the scope of the job.  He got a hold of me and waited for me to respond before going ahead and doing the extra work.  I appreciated that.

He was here on time and finished very quickly.  He left no mess and told me to phone him if I had any more trouble with leaking - even if it happened at night.  I also asked him about a couple of future projects I will definitely call him to do.

These were mostly projects I'd been putting off for some time and finally decided I needed help.
I contacted 3 on Angies list and was fortunate to find Wooly.
Wooly arrived for initial meeting on time. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. We agreed on a price and work was completed in a timely manner and within estimate. Parts of these projects were complex due to the age of the house and materials needed. He wasted no time coming up with elegant solutions and the work was done very professionally.
I highly recommend Wooly for any projects around the home and will definitely call him for help with future projects.

Quick responses.  Personable.  Dog friendly.  Timely.  Brings his repair shop to the door.  Would definitely call him again.  Price was  appropriate.

Wooly was excellent and I liked him. I recommended him to some other neighbors and he is still busy. The next date that he is available is September 10th and I will be calling him for something soon too. His price was very reasonable. He is very efficient and he does what he says he is going to do. He is on time and I think that he is very good at what he does as a handyman.

It went great!  I called on a Saturday morning and later that afternoon, he came out to check out the job and schedule a time for the job to be completed.  Wooly's was on time and got the job done without delay.  I will use this company again.

He was very prompt in responding to my phone call I got his voice mail. He came out the next day to do the job. He included the wood that he needed for the job in the price which was really nice. I would use him in the future if needed.

Wooly pulled off one sheet of paneling and noticed air seeping through the wall.  He explained that air movement through this space must be moving loose insulation to the end of the opening and causing it to eventually drop out onto the floor.  He caulked that area and a few places outside at my request.  He then removed the dripping fixture, went to pick up the needed parts, and replaced those parts.  No more dripping.  We both looked at the manual for the high-performance (strong flow) toilet and agreed on what part needed to be replaced.  After returning from the supply store, he replaced the defective part with the replacement.  No more leaking.  He advised me to watch the floor below the toilet to make sure the problem is completely solved.  Wooly is the easiest person to work with and fixes things in the most convenient and inexpensive way possible (when they can be).  I hope many people read this review and contact him.  They won't be disappointed.  I am 100% satisfied.

I was really happy with the service and look forward them again.  I would highly recommend to anyone.
