Tri Co Contracting did an excellent job on our roof. Jeff and Luke are professionals, and easy to ask questions and talk to. Our roof is beautiful and was done in one day, they covered everything all around the house. They used a big trailer for the tear off instead of a dumpster that trashes the driveway. All the roofers were polite and worked hard and cleaned up any mess. No nails left behind. They gave us a good price and I looked on their website and checked out their work on other houses. I would highly recommend them to anyone to have work done on their house by Tri County, thank you. Dave Cerny

The Tri-County crew were very professional. Work was done according to specifications and on a timely manner. The flower beds and lawn were protected and all debris was removed. We are very happy with the finished product and recommend Tri-County Contracting.

Tri-County is very responsive. They followed up and resolved a soffit repair for us today. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them again. Staff were polite, professional and on time.

They were excellent, very professional and cleaned up after they were finished. Answered all of our questions. They offer a free one year inspection which I appreciate.

Jason was on time, very friendly, and knowledgeable. I showed him three different ceiling stains and he crawled through the attic to confirm the location and issue. He then repaired the leak issues from the roof. Overall he was at the house for just under one hour. I am very pleased with the service received and would definitely use them again.

Brian and his crew were great. Sam, the owner, came back to inspect the work that was done, and I really appreciated that. They're very nice people and the crew was very respectful. They did great work and cleaned up every day with a magnet before they went home. I would recommend them to anyone. I've had people stop by and compliment our roof, they did a wonderful job.

It went very well, they were on time, did the entire job in two days, came out for inspection the following week and have a guarantee. Even though they were more expensive than other estimates we got, they were the most professional and I think it is worth it to pay more for a job well done.
We liked the fact that when we called the office, we talked to someone right away  who set up an appointment within the next few days to assess our needs and give us an estimate.  Our roof was leaking so time mattered. Other contractors we called were not very good about calling back.

Their price was good. They did what they said they were going to do and they have a program where they come out and check your roof every year, from the day that they put it in. They come and check your roof and give you a flyer and let you know if anything needs to be done or if everything is good. I did use them a little while later to replace the gutter. It is holding out good. There are no problems.

It went very well.  The overall job was excellent.  It took 2 days for 5 men to complete the work.  They arrived at 7:30 AM both mornings and the 2nd day worked until 6:39 PM to complete the job.  All of the shrubs were covered and protected and there was no damage to our property.  Josh was the foreman on the job and he made sure that we knew everything that was being done as the work progressed.  All of the workers were friendly and professional.  There was no loud music or bad language which we appreciated.  All of the scheduling and coordinating was done by Chuck and  he did an out standing job.  He also inspected the roof when the work was completed.

They were fine.  I liked the fact that everything looked good when they were done.  It was what we wanted to have done and nowadays it is hard to wind up that way.  I was satisfied with the whole thing.

I had asked for a start date of 8/2 so that the roof would be done before I moved in the house 8/14. I was updated of the delay to 8/7 and then received several more phone calls delaying the job to 8/13. I understand that there are always delays for weather and such but the weather had actually been ideal that week.  I've learned that dealing with roofers is like dealing with the airlines.  Things get delayed and you may not believe their reasons but there is nothing you can do about it.
I needed some new siding on the chimney and had been told that it takes a couple of weeks to get that because it is matched to the color of the house.  I gave them permission to obtain the sample they needed on 7/8.  I had asked several times before the start of the job if it had been done.  It did not get done until 1 month later, days before my job started.  What that means is that now my job was being done in pieces.  The original roofing team could not complete work and I had to wait weeks for a siding team to come in and complete it their part and the other parts the other roofers couldn't..  My feeling is they just didn't care to plan.  They were the ones that told me it would take time to get the siding matched so they would do that early and then they didn't.
The clean up from the roofers was alright although they left a large amount of cigarette butts on the curb.  Just what you want when you are new to the neighborhood!  Also no one cleaned under the dumpster when it was removed from the driveway. There were a lot of nails. The siders replaced a piece of wood above the front porch in addition to the chimney.  I don't believe they picked up any nails from the front because my 3 year olds found about 20 rusty 3 inch nails right outside our front door.  They also piled up their garbage in a corner of the driveway which wasn't removed for days. .
Luckily for me my dad was around when they were working because he pointed out that the 2nd bathroom needed to be vented.  It was written in my contract to do it but I am sure I would not have noticed if it wasn't.  The job was also considered completed by them although a downspout was only half attached to the house and not hooked up to the drain.  At the first rain I noticed a stream of water shooting off the 3 rows of shingles.  There was also water pouring down the siding above the entrance door  where the end of a gutter was.  I have yet to see if their ideas to fix these things will work.
Overall, I would not recommend them.  They enforce the fact that they are a family owned business and I guess that made me think maybe the customers are treated like family but that was not the case here. It was a disappointment and I hope that do not  have roofer issues in the near future.
It should be noted that I am writing on my mom's angie's list account in case the company states that the name does not match any work they have done.

They were excellent. They were professional. They answered questions and they had a warranty, which is the reason we went with them. They talked professionally and they actually got on the roof when they did the estimate, unlike some of the other companies that came out. They were very good. They came when they said and they cleaned up very well. When we had questions, they were answered. Their price was average with everybody and for what we got, it was priced right. It was what it should have been. We had no problems. We had terrible winds this past winter and spring and we didn't have any problems with the shingles. They always called back within a reasonable time. We would definitely use them again. We got 4 or 5 estimates. The shingles should not have needed to be replaced because they were only 12 years old. The gravel on the shingles was coming off.

I was extremely pleased with this company. They were very dependable. The project was completed on time. They were very thorough and honest in estimating the cost of the job. They did exactly what they said the would do. No hassles at all! They cleaned up after themselves as well. This garage was originally a two car garage but he remolded it to make a four car garage out of it. When they were doing the work they discovered that some boards didn't need to be replaced. They were honest and upfront about it and decided to take $400.00 off the original estimate. I was very pleased about that.

The people at Tri-County replaced our failing roof, helped us complete the paperwork needed to return some of our old, failing shingles to the manufacturer, and cleaned up beautifully. They were so responsive to our questions and concerns during the whole process. Because it snowed right after the work was completed, the gutters didn't get cleaned out before they were done, and just this past week when it warmed up someone came and cleaned them out. Thanks to Jeff and all of his great people.

After selecting Tri-County my wife and I went to their showroom and they sent us home with several samples. We selected a date, picked our color and signed the agreement. The roofers arrived on time and were extremely nice. The time that they were roofing was peak time for bee's and hornets and they did a great job in being safe on my very steep roof and completing the job. When things were in the way they asked us to move them or took care of it themselves. They did a great job also in removing the material and trying to pick up nails. If you can think of the size of an $11k roof I only found three nails after they were done and each was in a spot that would have been tough to pick up. The team was very experienced and I captured photo's through out this process because I am very proud of the new roof on my house. The final portion of billing was again managed very well and we received the bill after the work was complete and there were no surprises. They will be back to inspect my roof annually and make sure everything stays the way it should. I cannot say enough great things about this company and the way they operate - thank you Tri-County Roofing team.

After the estimate was completed, they began work the following month. In that time, we made a few requests for changes (ie roof color, soffit and fascia added to the garage). All of our original requests were completed within the first two days of work. The change orders took longer as the office staff did not communicate well with the workers in the field. Overall, a very honest, friendly, and hard working company. The installation went quickly and the clean-up was thorough. Any final requests/criticisms were corrected promptly.

They left empty caulk tubes on the roof, nails were in the gutters and yard. Sharp snips of metal from the gutters were left in the yard as well. When I called them on this, they sent out the crew chief and he peeled out of my driveway when I asked him to clean it up. I would never go back to them, they were awful. I have since had to have the roof replaced again since the products installed were so poor. Tri County may or may not have know, but the manufacturer of the products they used had lawsuits over them later, since the products last did not last 20 years. They did not offer any assistance in getting a hold of the manufacturer. The roofer who replaced the work informed me they would have helped me if it was their roof.
Response from Tri-County Contracting
"Our staff at Tri-County Contracting makes every attempt to maintain professionalism with our clients and to show respect to their property. We are honest with our clients and desire to build a high level of trust with them as well. The work by our company was supposedly completed in 1999, but this customer filed the complaint in 2010? We have no record of these events taking place, and ask that future homeowners discard this feedback."
