Reimer Roofing & Remodeling

I called the company September 7th for an estimate. By September 21st I received no call or estimate. Called again on September 22, and they told me they have no record of my first call (very unprofessional in my book.) They told me again they would be out next week to do an estimate. We will see if they will do what they said they will.

The next day Scott arrived on time. He promptly went to work after letting me know he was on the property. His professionalism was as great as the day before, and before I knew it, he had completed the repair work. I will praise Reimer's Roofing & Remodeling at any time as it took less than 24 hours from the initial phone to the completion of the repair, which looks great also! Thanks Kelly & Scott!

I called for a quote, was told someone was sent to do an estimate, and never heard back from anyone. I tried calling the company but never got a body, and no one returned calls.

The experience overall was great. The price was competitive and the work was completed as scheduled. It took a while to get the work done (but this is the busy season.) Every time I called Kelly to get an update, he promptly returned my call, and explained delays. This is a very nice company to work with and would use again.

We had already contacted Todd about replacing our porch, so when the roof began to leak, we called him in to help. Kelly Riemer came over to inspect the roof, and explained exactly what was wrong, and what would need to be done to fix it. A long period of intermittent rain made it difficult for the workers to schedule the repairs but Todd kept me up to date, and called on the day the roofer was slated to arrive. We did find some shingles and roofing nails in the gutter later, but I think that is probably reasonable to expect, given the circumstances. Overall, a very neat and efficient job.

I received a call from the company initially, indicating that they would call next day to come out and quote me. Two days later, I called back, as I had not heard back. They have not returned my call, and it has been approximately 3 weeks!

He was on time, very nice, and priced very well.

The company was very easy to deal with and professional. They delivered an accurate estimate quickly after they were contacted. The work was done within several weeks of contact and once started the work was done quickly and without problems. The ultimate price was very close to the estimate and I was contacted before the work was done when one modification had to be made. One damaged area was missed in the initial repair, and I did have to have them come back to finish. Although this was done without additional charge or difficulty it did take an additional week or two.

It was a very pleasnt experience. They did the work very quickly and cleaned up the area afterward. They even came back to adjust a downspout for me.

Kelly was very good to work with. He and his crew were very professional. The crew would clean up the site every night and answer all my questions. I had Kelly order me extra materials so I could re roof the garage myself. Not many contractors would work with on a situation like this! He was very helpful with giving me some advice on the garage roof. I would definitely use Reimer again and would also recommend this company.

The company was not the low bidder, but they were very close. They were very responsive and professional. Although they did not get the job, we would recommend them.

Called to request a quote to get my porch roof replaced. Todd Dejno came out, said he would get me a quote by the beginning of the next week (Memorial Day weekend.)Despite three calls to their office, still have not received any quotes. Obviously, they're not interested in doing small jobs, which is a shame, because had they done a good job, they'd have gotten the business for a full roof tear-off on a massive house in a few years, and several window replacements.

When I first contacted Todd at Reimer, their quote was reasonable (middle of 3), but I was most impressed with their professionalism and prompt service. It took a while to schedule a time to start my job, but this is to be expected in the early spring. One thing they told me is that they are hesitant to start large jobs when there is even a remote possibility of rain. I appreciated their honesty. Kelly and Todd both kept in touch with me and kept me informed of an expected start date. Once they started, I was impressed at how quickly they worked. The job was big and messy, but they handled it quickly and efficiently. Most importantly, they respected my neighbor's property. The roof looks great and the crew cleaned up my yard of all debris and nails. In addition, Kelley showed flexibility and understanding when my bank requested some unexpected paperwork. I am very impressed with this company and would recommend them to any of my friends, neighbors, or clients.

If you have a difficult leak, I would recommend Reimer Roofing. He was thorough in his investigation, looking in the attic, inspecting the roof and gutters. He was able to articulate possible leaks and looked into each scenario. I was impressed that they found the leak when the other roofer didn't. He was planning to come back the next day and I asked that "he" come back. I didn't want another worker to look at the house. He agreed. I read this off of another Angie's List review. He's very prompt, professional and appears to be knowledgeable. He is very pleasant to deal with. I was VERY satisfied with his service and price.

A little slow to respond to initial call for estimate, and to get me estimates. But, otherwise it was a great experience. When they discovered they needed some unexpected extra material, they said they would schedule another appointment for the work, rather than leave an unfinished installation exposed to the rain that came that night. They came a couple of days later, without me having to be home. When I got there, the work was done. Other than a beautiful new skylight, there was no evidence of them ever being there. hey also came substantially bellow the other quote that I received.

It went well. Only one thing, the estimate of 3 days turned into a week and a half. Everything else turned out well, and they cleaned up very well.

Called over 2 weeks ago. Left several numbers to contact me. Have yet to hear from them.

Promised to give a free estimate and never looked at house.

Mr Reimer was prompt and knowledgeable about the humidity cause and how to rectify the problem.

Months later, they told us they couldn't get the door and do the repair. It was important to us to get this door fixed because there were obvious rodent problems. We were trying to be proactive before the fall when they are at their worst. We waited all this time, and they told us they couldn't do it. He was here in person to check the door. At another unused kitchen door, we started having ant problems-we had a broken stoop and the door had been sealed. I asked him for an estimate to fix this. Kelly took the measurements and promised us an estimate. A couple of days later, a subcontractor calls and takes the same measurements. This was beginning to get frustrating. We never received an estimate at all-no communication. It was bad business.

The guy that we originally spoke with was Mr. Reimer, the owner. He was very nice. He went around and gave us a written estimate. The project was then subcontracted. Kelly didn't give us much notice, and then the workers didn't always show up when they said they would. We paid Reimer directly, and we also didn't have to pay anything until the job was done. He did tell us we didn't need to replace the entire roof, and told us when it would it be necessary to do this.

I called Reimer Roofing one week ago, and have yet to get any response from them.

Kelly was very pleasant to work with on this project. Despite some material delays, he kept in close contact with us on when the work would be completed.

The staff in the office and on the roof communicated by cell phone about conditions and cost estimates, and then provided an estimate to me so I could authorize the work. They were on time, friendly, and worked carefully. They are reasonably priced, and even promised to do further work without charge if their first diagnosis was incorrect.
