Reimer Roofing & Remodeling

Very well. This was Christmas week, and they were able to send someone to my home the next day. The owner described what they would do, and the cost, very accurately. The worker explained how I could handle this situation myself until the spring. In spring I will have then back to look at the flashing under the shingles at the roof line. It probably needs to be replaced or repaired to prevent this from happening again.

They were very professional and knowledgeable. They were fully prepared when they came. They were easy to work with and the quote was reasonably priced.

Initial response to my call was about a week later. The company seemed too busy to be responsive without assertive prompting. Price seemed perhaps average for the business. Certainly not a bargain for installation by three young men working six hours. The product quality and final result are first rate.

I called more than once to get an estimate from Reimer because so many people with older homes in my neighborhood were using them. It took a few tries to get them to come out, but the owner finally did, and he was very thorough in composing the estimate and walking me through the variables that would affect the cost. He was also very apologetic about how long I had to wait for a response, which counts for a lot in my book. Reimer came out (as the contractor used by my home warranty company) to seal chimney flashing, and they were prompt and professional.

I was in a bind with a refinance pending the roof removal. Reimer was the only company who would take on the job that needed to be completed in less than 5 days. Paul, who did the estimate, was very thorough in explaining the procedure and products to be used. The products and techniques he presented were superior to those that 3 other estimates quoted and worth the extra costs to me. The dumpster arrived the next day. The work began the following day. The workers were neat and polite. Due to the time crunch and rain day they worked on Saturday to meet the deadline. When rain prevented the completion of the roof on the day of the refinance closing Kelly Reimer himself talked to my mortgage broker to assure him the work would be completed and I closed on my refinance on Monday night as scheduled. The roof looks great. The assessor commented that the yard was left exceptionally clean and neat compared to most he sees. Everyone was happy!!

They were very knowledgeable and professional, but we went with a lower bid. ($2,400.00)

They recognized an issue, they stopped all of their work before they went on. That says a lot about how much pride they take in doing the job right. Paul Bruss had good communication. I appreciated the referrals that he offered within one mile of my home. I called with a compliant about a subcontractors disposal, and the main office took fast action. The quality of work appears to be outstanding.

Pleasant to work with, but just too expensive.

The gentleman who came out was very good and professional. I really liked him. I would have used him but I didn't because he gave me a referral sheet and they said they were very good. But I liked one service provider more.

Reimer came out to check to see just what he hadn't done. The previous company had missed a lot of things. We had them redo the job correctly. They started from scratch. They also did the siding on our duplex. We have another house but they probably won't do the roofing on that until next year.

My experience with them was very good. They came when they said they were going to and got the job done when they said they were going to. I would recommend them and use them again.

They came out quickly to view my gutters that I wanted rehung. But, after numerous calls left on their voice mail, I never did get a quote or an explanation as to why I never got one. They have not returned my calls.

Not only were they prompt and courteous, when they had a cancellation for another project they came to our house instead and got to work earlier, they really did a great job. And a year later when we had a question, a Representative of the company came out himself to answer it.

We got several bids before hand and they were the best price. The workers were fine. They did their job and cleaned up everything. I would recommend them to others.

They called my work and set an appointment for Wednesday but never showed up. I have called twice yesterday and today and have not heard back from them.

Paul came out to give me an estimate for replacing my garage roof - as well as my garage soffits and fascia. When the estimate came back, I realized that I would have to do the work in stages. Paul was extremely accommodating and broke the estimate out into two separate jobs - so that I could pay cash for the work. He had a dumpster delivered on the day that he promised, and the following day, the crew came and replaced my garage roof - as promised. They were friendly and on time, and they completely cleaned up my yard before they left. If the dumpster hadn't been there, I would not have known any work was done! He matched the color of the roof VERY closely to the roof on my house, and I am extremely pleased with my overall experience.

They were very receptive and customer friendly beginning with my initial call that I made to the company. They sent someone out that day to evaluate the problem and do the required repairs. When I discovered another leak a day or two later, the contractor again came out immediately to evaluate and repair the problem. I was extremely satisfied with this company and their excellent customer service. Their employee (Chris) who came to do the repairs was very professional, explained everything in detail and did a wonderful job.

WE Energies was very confusing in telling us what needed to be done to our siding to allow the electric meter to be replaced. Luckily, I found Kelly Reimer who helped us figure out what needed to be done, who arranged to be at the house when the WE Energies representative came, and who did a great repair. He was friendly, helpful, and patient in a very frustrating situation.

We consider them a total solution whenever we need to have any work done. They have been responsive with their bids. We have enjoyed working with Todd and his crew, they are refreshingly professional. We will continue to use them and would recommend them.

The workmen were very detailed-oriented and eager to please us. Their work was wonderful and they cleaned up every evening.

Fair price and matched the estimate. The workmen were meticulous with their work and clean-up.

The salt bags worked for a bit, but they didn't clean out all the snow and they failed to mention that the process would need to be repeated throughout the winter until the roof could be checked in the spring.

The flashing on the angled portion is non-existent, they brought the shingles up to the wall and caulked it. I feel as though I overcharged on the soffit. The bid includes up to 12 lineal sheet of soffit at no additional cost. Serious problems will be $75/hr. plus materials. That charged me $575, which would allow approx. 7 hours of labor. They were not there working for 7 hours on that part of the job. Original quote was $985, but extras brought it to $1560.

Kelly Reimer was great to deal with, but price was too high.

Overall, Kelly and his crew were great! Kelly took a lot of time when I called him to explain what was happening on the job, he never sounded aggravated at my questions. He was very patient. The roofers were great, showed up and worked when expected. The re-modelers did not always come when I expected them. But I guess that is what the contracting world is about!
