Reimer Roofing & Remodeling

We worked with Todd Dejno who is one of the owners of the company from the start through the finish. Todd had quoted the job for us various ways throughout the past several years as we tried to find a contractor and financing that could meet our situation. We actually found financing through another contractor and Todd became certified by them so he could take on our job and future jobs. The job began it what became one of the wettest June's on record for Milwaukee and they were very careful not to start anything they couldn't finish without protecting our house. Finally the weather broke and the job moved along quickly. We had to replace all the decking on a shed dormer that was just rotten and they made sure I saw this and approved the change before they ripped out the damaged section. Todd's men working on the front porch were true craftsmen. The porch is the entrance to this 1930's bungalow so it was critically important to us that it looked good. They did a wonderful job in every aspect of the job, from the work, to cleaning up daily, to keeping me informed every step of the way. I would gladly recommend Reimer for any job you are contemplating.

I'm very satisfied with the outcome of my job. Scott Reimer patiently answered all my questions, and explained what work they would do. They were able to start two days after I accepted the quote. They solved the root cause of my roof leak(s), and I did not feel like they rushed through any part of the job. Scott came back a couple of times to address specific concerns I had. I would definately use their services again.

I have used them in the past for a small repair. They were so wonderful that time I suggested them to 2 of my friends who had wonderful experiences with them as well. When it came time to re-roof we contracted with REIMER ROOFING & REMODELING again and the work was stellar! They are a wonderful company to work with. True professionals, taking time to make sure everything is done correctly, neatly, and to the highest quality standards. The only issue we had was with the dumpster in the drive way creating a pothole that we have been stumbling over. But never fear Remier has already contracted with an asphalt company to come out and fix the drive at their cost! We will be using them in the future if we have any other needs but they are all A's in our books!

The roofer who came out was great. He gave me two different options; a cheaper, shorter term fix and a more expensive, longer term fix. This helped me decide what I wanted to do. They came when they said they were going to and the roof is not leaking so that is good. I will use the company again.

Reimer is personable, friendly, and thorough. They offered to take us to look at other roofs that they have worked on. The roof is fine, we have had no trouble with it. You can save a new roof by using Reimer. We had another company come and tell us we needed a whole new roof so Reimer is very honest.

Because they were highly rated on Angie's List, we contacted Reimer about some roof repairs. They made an appointment to come see us. They had to reschedule. Then they had to reschedule again. The third time, they came, they viewed the area we needed fixed, and they promised to send us a quotation. They never did. UPDATE: After this report, we received the quotation promptly, and it is very reasonable.

I called Reimer and requested an estimate for a minor roof repair. They were not able to come until the next week. Their estimate of $175 seems very high for the parts required, level of difficulty, and time required for this repair. We are talking about $20 of parts and 30 minutes of work here. Will repair ourselves when the weather improves.

I was very satisfied. They were very nice and they did the work right away. Everything has been fine!

We had Reimer for putting in a new roof and remove the previous 3 layers of roofing that we had on our house before we moved in. They did a great job. We had some problems with a vent as it was not fixed properly and Kelly came in quickly and replaced the same. We also had them add an exhaust fan in our bathroom and they did it with great satisfaction. Kelly personally dropped off the samples for the railings and did the job as promised on time. We were very pleased with their services and would definitely use them for the future.

I initially called for an estimate between Christmas and New Years. A gentleman named Paul came to the house, took a look at the existing gutters, and informed us our gutters would work with the Leafproof toppers. Paul gave us an estimate within the week, which we mailed back mid January. After hearing nothing for weeks, I called the company and left a message, which was not returned. During the second half of February I called again, leaving another message. This time I received a call back from someone who apologized and looked for our signed contract. He told me that Paul was no longer employed with their company, and he was sorry we had been "lost." He promised that our job would be done during March. On April 1, I called again and reminded them that March had passed, we had been forgotten again, I now felt like I was begging them to do our gutters, and I wished to cancel the contract. He countered with a 5% discount and an offer to do the job the next day, on Good Friday. After some consideration, my husband and I chose to have the job completed, but on Monday, April 4 instead, which was more convenient for us. When we arrived home from work on Munday, we noticed that our gutters looked ragged. My husband called and was told that a crew would be sent to correct the installation. This was repeated every couple of weeks until June 14, when someone showed up when my husband was home. He was finally able to point out exactly where the problems remained, and they were corrected. Our gutter topper job ended up taking just short of 6 months to complete.

They did a beautiful job. They told me some of the siding needed to be replaced because the roofing and siding did not meet. I was very pleased with the job. They were very professional. The tenants were pleased because their flower beds were protected.

Very well. Kelly was very professsional and timely in providing an estimate and setting up the work. The crew did the work the day they said and cleaned up well. It's rained very hard several times since and there have been no leaks.

Great some wether dedlyes. Great service called to tell us thay when thay be there and show up on time.great workmanship.

He?s a very nice man. He said when he does it he wants to do it right, so he would want to come back again to look.

It went very well. The roofers (we had two, because I couldn't get access to a locked gate on the first day) first found as close a match to our shingles as possible - which was very close. The first roofer then did the stuff he could access, and the second finished the job. Since it was a smallish job, it was finished pretty quickly. They were both very professional and courteous. The only reason I didn't get them "A's" across the board is that they were very slow in the invoicing department. Reimer does has a 30 day net invoicing (which is important in these economic times) but it took almost 2 months for me to even see an invoice. In fact I had to call them and ask if it had been sent. I had expected the invoice in the mail the day after the work had been done.

Kelly Reimer was very responsive to requests and concerned about the quality of work. He was very good at exploring and obtaining various samples before we committed to the work. His crew made a couple of mistakes and he quickly remedied the situations which probably cost him in excess of $1000. Very willing to talk through possible disagreements and compromise on solutions In addition, he saw one area that he was not happy with and will be sending the crew back in spring to remedy that situation. Excellent quality and responsiveness all the way around. I would recommend Reimer to anyone.

They repaired a leak in the garage. They had to pull back the old roof, fixed the leak underneath and put in a new roof in that section. It was a two by five section. We would recommend them because they were prepared to do the smaller job which others were not prepared to do. The price was a little higher than we expected. We don?t think it was higher than what anyone else would charge.

It went very well. The work was done when they said it would be and the young man who came out to do the work did a good job, and was very courteous to work with.

The first time they installed the cables they didn't work. I thought they should have tested the cables before they put them up. They had to come back 2 or 3 times because it was too cold to take the cables off the roof. When they did finally take them off, it was more than the previous price they had quoted us. They said it was because the cables weren't long enough.

Kelly Reimer was a joy to work with from the initial estimate to the end of the project. He and his staff were very willing to go the extra mile even when I asked them to do things that were not directly tied to roofing or siding (eg fixing drain spouts, cleaning old grout from around basement windows). I felt they were really interested in satisfying the customer. Kelly provided lean waivers and a copy of his liability insurance I would definitely use Kelly Reimer again and would refer him to friends without hesitation.

They did a real good job. It looks good.

I liked the review and information the representative provided. I will definitely contact them in the future when I need work on my roof.

The price was astronomical compared to our other bids, they were the highest by almost $10,000. We showed Reimer's quote to the company we went with and they couldn't believe the quoted price. In comparing Reimer's quote to the company we went with the only difference we could find was in the use of the "Deck Armor" instead of felt, the company we went with would do the same for $400 above their bid. The most curious thing was that Reimer mailed the quote to us and never followed up with a phone call or anything so I just chalked it up to them not wanting our business at that time.

It was perfect, Norm was neat and clean from start to finish. He made sure that there was no nails left in the driveway after the job was done. I will definately use Reimer Roofing for future projects!
