Rep came out took measurements. Emailed copy of the quote later that same day. We are considering a second floor addition instead of just replacing the roof at this time. Otherwise would have contracted work.

we dealt with Todd and he was very good at communicating with schedules and work to be done. The crew was always here on time and did an excellent job.

It actually started with their sales representative, Todd, who came out to determine what needed to be done. Based on his initial assessment from where the water was leaking he thought we might not need a new roof. As it turned out, the water issue we were having was not because of the roof. However, when they examined the actual roof he indicated because of its age we would probably need one in the next 3 - 4 years. Because of his honest assessment we decided to go ahead and have the new roof put on. His roofing crew was excellent, they showed up on time, did not spend time standing around but just went to work and then did a complete cleanup at the end of the day. They completed the job on time even though it met they needed to work part of a Saturday to get the job done. In the process of replacing the roof they discovered a problem with my chimney. They do not do chimney work but he put me in contact with another company that did. I used tha company and was very satisfied with the job they did.

They did everything we asked them to do. Everyone around the neighborhood liked it and I would recommend them to anybody that would use them. He was very reasonable. We cut a deal with him. I liked everything. He was a nice guy. His workers they had done everything that we had asked and above and they had done more. Anytime that we called them they would always be there or return the call. I had no problem with them.

It went very well. Kelly was a pleasure to work with. He had great communication with me throughout the process. Their work looks good, and they were fast and professional.

I was particularly impressed with Reimer Roofing, who I got from Angie's list. I have used them for two things and about a total of about $3500 worth of business and they have just been outstanding. First of all we found them on Angie's list and so we had confidence that they would be a good company to go to and we have a stone house and they came out and did a minor repair and we thought we had an interior leak that showed up in our kitchen that had to do with flashing on a copper portion of the roof. We had other people come out here and give me estimates that were pretty high, and he came out, Scott Reimer came out himself, and looked at it and did a very thorough inspection that took him about 45 minutes or an hour and came back and said "I think your problem is fairly small" and he showed me what it was, and he fixed it. That was about a year and a half ago. We've had some severe weather since then and had absolutely no problem, so I have great confidence in him, that he had given me an honest assessment and didn't use Angie's List as a way to get his foot in the door and then sell me repairs that were not needed. No reflection on others saying that they might do that, but certainly it is a reflection on his expertise and his integrity. So we later were going through a re-finance situation and it was determined by the mortgage company and the person that did the appraisal on the home that that garage roof on our detached garage in our backyard had probably outlived its economic life, I think is what they said. That put us in a situation where we weren't able to get the re-financing at a very favourable rate without repairing the garage roof first. And, the closing date on the garage roof, on the loan was supposed to be in January and we had severe weathere, there was no way we could get this garage roof done. I called Reimer, and they waited for a window of good weather of three or four days, and in the month of February, they had to shovel off the roof to replace it. And did an outstanding job. I just finished repainting the garage and it looks like a new garage. They were professional, they took care of the plants that were underneath the snow. They really went the extra mile. I could not be more impressed with that. You just don't find service like that very often. So I highly recommend this company. Not a big company, it's a small company, but they certainly pay attention to their customers.

I dealt with Kelly Reimer who was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I had asked him several years ago to look at my roof thinking it needed to be replaced. Surprisingly he told me it would last another couple of years. I was shocked that he didn't use my concern to sell me a new roof then. They did a wonderful job and the roof looks great. I had asked them to do some additional things listed above which they did very well. Kelly always kept me appraised of what they were doing and any issues they came across. I would highly recommend them.

We had an occasional intermittent leak from the bay window area in our kitchen for 17 years, damaging the ceiling and water coming through the light fixture at times! We even had a roof replaced during that time (not by Reimer :( unfortunately). We had several different people check it out, including the previous roofer, but no one could seem to find the problem. A co-worker had a similar problem for years, and Reimer figured it out for her, so I contacted them. They immediately figured out the flashing was bad (and had been redone inappropriately by my previous roofer!).

Todd was an excellent representative of the company. He explained what they would do and his crew was here to begin work in only a couple days. They completed the job in the time they said and even work through an unexpected cold wet rain to finish. The crew cleaned up each day to assure no stray nails were left from the tear off. A small problem with one section of the gutter occurred which was taken care of the next day, a Sunday, upon notifying Todd. We are very happy with the way the roof looks and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I met with the company owner, Kelly, to receive an estimate on a roofing job for my house. I thought it was in bad shape because of the appearance, lots of patchy dark spots all over. After he did a thorough examination of the roof he told me the discolored areas were a lichenous (leaflike) materiel that accumulated on the shingles, and not an issue of function just appearance. The roof was sound and I didn't need anything done. I was astounded with his upfront, HONEST assessment. He basically turned away business for the benefit of the customer, wow! I have had negative experiences in the past with contractors who would have promoted a new roof just for the job, not because it was necessary. Kelly's opinion and approach was outstanding. He gave me an "anticipatory" quote at my request. I got it within a day of his visit. I will hire them in a heartbeat when I need ANY kind of service done, including that roof work down the road

Kelly Reimer was extremely helpful in my success in following the procedure to get a refund from the company whose roofing product was defective. He is a good person to work with, and it appears to me that the relations he and his workers have is a very good, pleasant, and productive one. Roofing was a little over $21,000; painting was a little under $18,000 (including cleaning and stucco repair) Fine quality roofing (long and transferable guarantee); and the personnel doing the job were very good to work with. Too early to know about the quality of the paint job -- depends on how long it lasts; however the application of the paint was very good -- neatly done.

We feel things went well. During the job there was some concern on our part about how far down the siding was being placed and this was quickly resolved to our satisfaction with no extra charge from the company. We have had comments from neighbors about how good the job looks. Our plumber actually asked for the name of this company as he stated he had some work he needed to have done on his house. We found this company in 2011 when we were looking for some one to fix a roof leak. We had our roof replaced a few years ago by another company and there was always a leak around the chimney. This other company stopped answering our calls about the leak. We finally turned to Reimer to fix the roof leak and they did in fact fix this. When we were looking to change siding we thought of Reimer and did seek an estimate from them. When dealing with Reimer we have found it is best to give the owner a couple extra days to return an estimate. if we had a large remodeling job we certainly would ask for another estimate from Reimer.

We have had a leaking enclosed porch roof for many years which was getting progressively worse. A couple of roofers tried to fix the problem without success. I called Reimer's because of their great rating. Scott Reimer and Buck came over and used a garden hose to diagnose the exact location of the leak- the dormers above the roof. No guesswork as previous experts used. They gave me a very reasonable quote and time frame with understanding that it might vary depending on the extensiveness of the problem. Buck did the actual work- which involved removing and replacing some of the cedar types shingles on the front of the dormer and redoing some of the work done by a previous"BIGNAME" roofer. Once he started the job it became apparent that it was much more involved than expected- I was called by Scott, Buck went out on the roof and explained to me what was going on and what he wanted to do to fix the problems. I was given a new quote for the additional work. It all ended up taking more days than expected, as some of roofing work done by the previous roofer was rotting out in less than ten years due to shoddy workmanship. Buck was an excellent craftsman- he cut new shingles by hand to match the hundred year old ones on the house. He showed me the work he did everyday and cleaned up and covered everything. The job ended up costing about 2.5x the original quote but still a very fair price considering the complexity , skill materials and hours involved. Six months later after very heavy rain and winds the porch is totally dry . I feel lucky to have found since an excellent, skilled small company- I highly recommend

Had a fantastic experience with Reimer Roofing & Remodeling. If you need a roof or siding done, they're the people to call! Kelly Reimer responded promptly to my request for an estimate. He was able to describe in detail exactly what they would do, how they would do it, and what the process would involve. He also helped us selecting roofing and siding material, and was knowledgeable about the entire process. We had a special bit of work that needed to be done for one skylight, and Kelly had no problem doing it and explaining how it might best be done. Reimer doesn't take shortcuts, and has the warranty to back it up. Everything they do they do right, and we'll likely never have to do the roof again, which is comforting to know. Now onto the actual work... The process happened in two phases. First the roof, then the siding. The roofing crew was able to arrive earlier than originally anticipated, which was great because we were closing in on winter. What a great group of guys; polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up the entire site at the end of each day. The roofing process wasn't particularly easy -- we have an old house, lots of roof, and lots of skylights. Along the way, they found and replaced rotted wood in various places, and did everything that was needed to make sure the roof was water tight. They even came on the weekend to finish up the last few things. The siding crew was a different group of people than the roofing crew, but equally friendly, nice, and knowledgable. We had a couple of challenges with the type of material we were using and the angles on one part of the house, but they came up with an excellent solution to the problem that looks great. During the entire process Kelly was in contact, updating us on how things were proceeding. He also stopped by in person several times to make sure things were proceeding nicely. Now that the work is done we couldn't be happier... The roof and siding look great, and though I have to admit I was a little hesitant the first couple of times it rained, no leaks! (unlike BOTH our neighbors, who apparently didn't pick a company as good as Reimer!). I've used a lot of contractors for various projects in the past and Reimer is one of -- if not THE -- best. Highly recommended!

They did a god estimate and did some minor repairs at that time before they started the bracing inside. They did the work perfectly, a real good job. The pricing also seemed very fair.

Reimer did not come out and give me an estimate. I was ignored.

Overall, everything turned out very good.

They repaired some shingles on our roof that had come off. He came out the same day as I called. I thought I was just getting a quote, but he actually did the work! He told me what the problems were with the shingles, and why they had come off. He noticed the gutter in the front needed to be rehung. I was happy with his work, and would use him again in the future.

There was a delay in starting the project due to weather and unexpected work needed on their previous job. However once they started on mine, I was very pleased. The workers were neat, polite and answered my questions readily. They cleaned the area thoroughly before they left.
