Great! Our floors are beautiful. Due to a couple of complications on the job, the team worked Sat. and Sun. to keep our project on schedule.

Excellent! He accommodated our tight schedule, his worker was very friendly and professional and easily worked around all the other work going on in our house and the floor looks gorgeous. Kenny can be a little hard to get a hold of, but don't let it discourage you. He got the work done as promised and the price was very fair. We would hire him again without hesitation.

They did a very good job. I was pleased with their service and the outcome. I would recommend them to others.

The Nu Floor team was amazing! They made our 100 year old floors look brand new and they had no problem color matching our oak floors and maple floors in the beautiful medium brown color. They also were amazing at fixing the floor in certain areas that needed boards replaced and seamlessly transitioned the hallway floor into each bedroom. I highly recommend working with Ken and the Nu Floor team for your floors!

With the exception of actually pinning Kenny down as to the bid and scheduling, (which should not sway you, really - you won't be sorry if you use NuFloor), things were wonderful.

Ken and his crew were great to work with! They put in long hours and got the job done as promised. All my questions and concerns were addressed, and the result was unbelievable. The floors had numerous gaps and holes from old ductwork that had been removed, and there was a large gap between the baseboards and the floors. The bedroom floor had been covered with two layers of linoleum, leaving a thick coating of tar over the entire floor. All the floors had had particle board nailed over them. Plus, there had been some water damage, leaving black spots in a couple of corners.

Ken was very upfront about what could and could not be corrected, and the result far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use him again, and recommend him to others. I could not include the cost of the job because I haven't yet received a statement, but
the estimate seemed quite reasonable for the amount of work needed.

From my first contact through the completion of this project there was never a moment that I did not believe that Nufloor was not the right contractor to help restore our ugly floors into something we can be proud of.

Ken showed up to take measurements and pointed out many imperfections and past damage in the floor that we never even noticed. Ken's great demeanor and true passion for his craft was obvious from our first contact.

The bid came in quickly and was less then we were expecting. The kitchen floor was a nightmare in my opinion! we contracted with Nufloor and they worked quickly and were very respective of my home and time. I was in the middle of a messy drywall project in one of the rooms that needed to be finished and they had no problem working around me. Travis did a great job prepping the floors and was also a very nice and friendly guy to meet. Another true craftsman who took great pride in his work.

I seen my new floors just yesterday and to be honest this was the first time that I have been truly impressed with a contractor. I love the job that Nufloor did and just sat there for a few minutes to soak in the complete transformation. After more then my fair share of bad experiences Ken and his team restored my faith in contractors.

If you have a hardwood floor project and don't call Ken Gehl you are really missing out!

The job went great. Ken came out to do a free estimate within minutes of calling him. He was already in the neighborhood. Ken listened to what I needed with the floor, didn't try to pressure me into anything else, and scheduled the job right away. He called the day before install to confirm the time we had setup and then one of his staff showed up on time the day of the repair. The job was done quickly and done well. I have nothing but praise for Ken's company. At the time of service, the company name was Nu Floor, but the phone number is the same as listed on Angielist. I highly recommend Ken's business to anyone needing flooring work.

Outstanding experience. From the beginning Ken was professional and explained the process completely. Made suggestions as to how to blend old floors to the new floors. Ken and his team were on time, professional, clean, and extremely efficient. Worked until 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night to keep us on schedule. I just couldn't be happier!

Because of the deadline for the first open house, they even worked on Saturday at no extra charge. We tested a few colors, which really helped. The sanding process was truly dustless - I didn't have to clean anything. Despite the fact that there were stains and blackened nail holes, the finished floor was so beautiful that I would just stand there looking at it.

Ken met with us on the first day of project work and thoroughly described the process to us. Ken and Dave provided us a sense of trustworthiness and made us comfortable with them in our house while at work. They flexed their working hours in order to work around our schedules. Ken stayed in regular contact with me to keep me informed and updated. When the project was complete, we were surprised by the minimal dust/sand left behind from floor sanding.

The entire interaction was extremely positive. Kenny came out to the house the day after I spoke to him and went out of his way to do the job promptly, even sanding over a weekend. We discovered that beneath the carpet in one of the rooms was a floor stained by cat urine many years ago, before my parents even owned it. It looked like a hideous, hopeless case to me, but Kenny described the process and what he could do to bring the floor back. He did a superb job at a very fair price. We are so pleased, and everyone who came to look at the house commented on the beauty of those floors. The new owners have even asked for his information for another project, and I will ask him to do some work in my home.

KEN WAS REFERRED TO US BY A NEIGHBOR WHO DESCRIBED HIM AS A FOURTH-GENERATION FLOOR ARTIST. SHE WAS RIGHT! HE WAS THE ONLY CONTRACTOR WHO CAME OUT TO ACTUALLY SEE OUR BADLY-DAMAGED FLOORS BEFORE GIVING AN ESTIMATE AND EXPLAINING THE WORK REQUIRED. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK ON TIME AND CLEANED UP BEAUTIFULLY UPON COMPLETION. KEN IS INCREDIBLY PERSONABLE, OPEN AND HONEST AND TAKES TREMENDOUS PRIDE IN WHAT HE DOES. OUR FLOORS LOOK BETTER THAN I THOUGHT WAS POSSIBLE. WE'RE THRILLED!
