Awful. They do large distribution of products, 6 or 7 years i bought a product from him and as a sealer for our staff and i put on based on the instructions and over the years it got very cloudy and i waited 4 or 3 years and called them back again. I explained it to them and showed them some of the products still left in the basement. They said the will probably wash the patios in the morning. It was 2 years ago, they washed the patios in the morning, came and sealed it in the afternoon but over the next month and half, it got smoky white and we could not see it. So i gave a clean up call and explained to them and they said they will sen their foreman over. He never saw me but then i called he said it was completely milky white and the owner said that is not my problem. They said the original one should have turned yellow. They said they only clean they do is give one gallon of a product so i contacted another contractor, he power washed it and put a restorer. It looks better now.

 After two weeks, the sealer turned a milky white which became worse and unslightly. I called McClain's and spoke to Dennis McClain and he did send his foreman Tom over to evaluate the situation. Tom applied some xylene to a small test area which cleared up most of the cloudy white look. At first Dennis would not correct the situation but finally offered to provide a gallon of xylene which I would have to apply. I refused the offer and in May of 2013 had another firm apply a seal restorer which removed the white film.

On the positive side they removed the old back patio, along with the sidewalk that led from the patio to the garage at no extra charge. They also helped spread 15 yards of dirt I bought, to help level out the backyard at no extra charge.
On the negative side it was hard as heck trying to get these guys to return our calls. The owner has no clue on what goes on and said we had to contact the foreman "Tom". Both the owner and foreman would only return are calls if we made repeatable calling attempts over the course of 2 days. After the work was completed, it was evident that there was no "Pay attention to Detail". Some corners were smudged, the sides of the step had a different color then the rest of the patio and there were multiple cracks and smudges along the lines in the concrete. Most importantly, on the patio along the sides of the step, there were multiple big black smudge marks. It took repeatable phone calls for 2 weeks before anyone came out for an hour and sanded down and erased the black smudge marks. Also they were about 6 weeks late on when they were originally going to start. Tom is a very nice guy, but the customer service was horrible and don't be surprised if nobody returns your calls!

They did a very good job, they were prompt, neat, and answered all our questions.

Our neighbors used them first and so we got to see what they did. We liked it so we had them do ours, too. Everything was fantastic, they attended to every question we had and they helped us with the design which we were concerned about. We had a little trouble with it being slippery when they were done so they came back and put some extra coatings on it and it's fine now. Everything we had trouble with or concern about they took care of. I told them I would put something on Angie's List because I was very, very impressed with everything they did. They cleaned up after themselves and everything was perfect. I would recommend them to others, you will be very satisfied.

Overall, a very good crew and did very good work on all areas that have stood up well over the course of the years. Looks great and done on time and received many compliments on the work. The crew (Tom and everyone) is great and Dennis has been good after the installation as well.

The house we bought has a front stoop that slanted down toward the house (which when it rained caused the rain to run to the house). We had to replace it. We were looking to renovate the look of the front stoop and looked for someone with a strong focus on quality. Positive experience; they were very accommodating with our needing to get past them in the driveway with our cars, etc. They were very focused on quality and produced an excellent product. They also let our daughter put her hand prints in the concrete. Again they were very accommodating and focused on quality.
