House Detective is a full time, full service, home inspection company operated out of New Berlin Wisconsin since 2005. Our core services include residential home inspections, electronic radon testing, commercial inspections, and renovation consulting (FHA 203k). These services give our customers the information they need to make an informed home buying or selling decision. We have performed more than 4000 inspections, and serve all of greater Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin.

We were looking for a next-day inspection, and House Detective was the first firm to respond to the emails we sent out. Because we weren’t working off a referral, we didn’t know what to expect, but Kevin exceeded our expectations! He arrived on time, provided an overview of the inspection plan, highlighted the issues he’d be highlighting in his report during the inspection and generally inspired confidence. Although the firm charges a flat rate for inspections, Kevin spent an hour longer than planned with us, answering all of our questions. We were incredibly lucky to have chosen House Detective and will definitely recommend Kevin to our friends!
