Heiden Tub Refinishing

I had Heiden refinish my tub/shower about 1 year ago. While the customer service and staff was excellent, the quality of the product is poor. This tub/shower only gets used a few months out of the year and it constantly has a film/ soap scum all over the tub. There is no shine...very dull therefore it always looks dirty. There is no mold growing in the caulking. I have followed there recommended cleaning process however due to the porous covering, it never gets clean. I would not recommend this process of refinishing.

Randy was responsive, informative, on time, meticulous, friendly and professional. While he may not be the cheapest, you are getting what you paid for. I definitely recommend his services if you want a job done the right way. It's too bad services like his are hard to come by these days.

First, the only reason I rated price at B and not an A is because I feel like an A is "cheap, cheaper than it should be" and Heiden is priced very reasonably and fair. Good work deserves compensation, of course. Our newly resurfaced tub looks amazing. The process of refinishing was intense. Our bathroom doesn't have a window so they brought along adequate equipment to ventilate the fumes out the side door, and later fans positioned skillfully to take advantage of close by windows. Both Randy (I think that was his name, I'm very forgetful) and his son (who prepped the tub) were VERY nice and personable. I had to be in and out for appointments during the time they were at the house and felt very confident leaving them in my home while I was away. I recommend Heiden to everyone I know.

What a difference!,,,,Randy and his sons did a fantastic job.....very professional, very kind. They treated my house as it was theirs. Always called , came when they said they would. Plus a beautiful job.

Turned out fantastic, looks like new. The owner and his son are both very personable and professional. A few of my nearby neighbors have also used these guys with similar results.

They had to do a lot of prep work on my 1970, Chocolate Brown tub. It is actually hard to believe the change. I looks like a brand new tub. I have given their name to several friends.

The owner Randy, had his son, James, refinish our aging (1954 vintage) bathtub.  James was very professional and did an outstanding job on our very cracked tub.  This tub was refinished just 6 years ago by someone else and it looked terrible (full of cracks).  James methodically removed all the product and got down to our original porcelain bathtub.  He was patient, quiet, professional and respectful in our home.   He did not make a mess and completed the job in a timely fashion, cleaning up after himself as each process was finished. 

When he completed the job he made sure that we knew the process for drying and laid out the instructions to us for the next 48 hours.

48 hours later, our tub looks amazing!  It looks brand new!

Was booked a month out when I called but it was well worth it. Tub looks fabulous. It only took one day for the work to be done. The chemical smell is strong but as the finish dries it dissipates. It isn't cheap but it's worth it when you consider how easy it is to clean now and how shiny and new it looks. It's not slippery at all either.

Our 65 year old porcelain tub is original to the house and we didn't want to change the character of our bathroom with something modern.  However, when we moved into our house, the tub was in such disrepair that the finish was terribly pock marked to the point of looking like swiss cheese.  (It had been refinished at some point long ago in the past and the finish had worn/flaked off.)  Randy and his son took a day to strip the old finish and refinish it.  The result was unbelievably amazing!  Our tub looks brand new and we couldn't be happier!  Would definitely recommend his professional, thorough, and quality work to anyone!

Amazing!  Turned an old 1960 Salmon Pink Tub into a beautiful brand new looking white bathtub.  No one believes me it used to be pink!!!

My tub was AMAZING afterwards.  Looked brand new.  Took about 5 hours.  He was awesome.  My only complaint which is just the way it goes:  the smell lasted for 3 days fairly strong and lingered for about a week.  Cold outside so hard to keep windows open all the time.
I would do it again though even with the smell because the tub is amazing.
