Communication was great. Lance was able to answer every question I had via email or phone quickly. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the gentleman who actually did the work, but he was great. We chose several stains to see swatches and actually went with one he picked out. He even sent me photos of the finished floors since I was out of town at the time. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and courteous. The floors look wonderful! They had to patch a couple of holes the previous owner made, but you can't even tell unless you look really closely. The floors do have a few imperfections, but they are due to the age of the home, nothing the workers did. Some walls in the living room were slightly scuffed from the machine but we were warned that might be a possibility. Touch-up paint was able to cover the scuff marks easily. We didn't notice any scuffing on our trim.

Floors look beautiful (see pictures) but very little communication was done. Had fresh texture and paint on walls before they came and warned them before beginning that walls were fresh. Despite the warning, there were chips in the texture and paint along the wall near the baseboards and again about 3.5-4 feet up along the wall in every room, causing a ton of touchup to be done. Sent pictures to management and they responded it was "just part of the process". Had I been told not to paint before hand, I would have understood, but I wasn't, and I wanted to make sure I wouldn't damage the new floors throughout the painting process. They also left a 10ft long scuff in the middle of the living room floor from the machine (see picture) but claimed it was there before and did nothing about it. I even took all the baseboards off to make the job easier but the guys were careless. I wasn't even informed when the job was done because they left a mop head in my kitchen and the floor didn't look like the poly had been applied, despite being assured it was. You may save a couple bucks for beautiful floors with these guys but for the amount of rework that needed to be done, it wasn't the worth it.

I am very pleased with the work and the customer service. Everyone I dealt with was extremely kind, professional and extremely prompt. I plan to have them back in the next month or so to complete the rest of my first floor floors.

The experience was amazing! from the time I got my quote for the replacement and staining to the time they were able to come out and complete the job was very fast! Dave K. and Andy A. were fa-nominal! They were very patient with me as I chose what I wanted for staining and explained the pro's and con's of each decision. I decided to not stain my floors and just clear coat them. I am in love with my floors and they look gorgeous! I have referred two other people so far to them because of their quality work and great attitudes!

The woman who I spoke with on the phone was fantastic. Without even discussing it, she helped me feel very comfortable having the work done while I was at work. The guys doing the work called a couple of times to give me a status and gave me clear expectations as to when and how I could walk on the floors. Our work completion date was not far off so many companies couldn't fit us into their schedule at all.

I was really impressed with the gentleman who came out to give us an estimate; he was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time answering all of my questions about the process, how much dust to expect, how to care for the floors afterwards, etc. Even though this company was a little more expensive than some of the others I had spoken to, we chose them based on my positive experience with their representative. It took a crew of 2 one day to complete the sanding, and then they helped me choose a color and finish. By the end of the next day, the floors were perfect -- they looked almost new. However, I didn't notice until a few days later that the crew had splashed some sealer on two walls and on a couple of the stair risers. We eventually had to prime and repaint those areas. Even more infuriating, the next time I tried to use our brand-new canister vacuum, it didn't work; when opened the dust cup I discovered that it was full of dust from the floor sanding. The vacuum wouldn't work because the filter was completely obstructed with flooring dust. Without my knowledge or permission, they had used my vacuum to clean up after they sanded the floor and burned it out in the process. I couldn't believe that they didn't bring their own vacuum. They had promised an essentially "dust-free" process; I didn't think this meant they would contain the dust in my vacuum. I feel that it was very unprofessional to use (and break) my own equipment without asking first. I wouldn't use this company again, nor would I recommend them to others.

The crew arrived on time each day. One day one, the floors were sanded and at the end of the day the crew helped homeowner pick out wood-stain color. On day two, the crew finished sanding and put first coat on the floor. Day three, crew finished the staining and coating in a timely manner and cleaned everything up. The floors look beautiful. The crew was able to remove all the stains and returned them to their original natural look. We are extremely pleased with the work and will hire them in the future for maintenance work and refinish the floors upstairs. We have recommended the company to others.

The estimator arrived right on time. (Flawless Flooring was the only company to look at the floor before estimating.) He came through with the lowest price. The man who actually did the refinishing came punctually, gave good advice on remaining options and finished the work on schedule. The job was very well done and the man cleaned up perfectly after himself.

Estimator was on time, very courteous. Installer was super, knowledgeable, friendly, very concerned that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Office staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Installers were on time, cleaned up, quickly got the job done.

It was great! The estimator was the friendliest of the five quotes I received. He quoted me a price that was lower than two competitors, but not as suspiciously low as the other two. The office worked with me to get the workers out to my house as quickly as possible. The guys who did the work were always on time, very friendly, and explained their work thoroughly. The floors were in very rough shape with ancient varnish, multiple stains, hundreds of nail and staple holes, and they did an amazing job taking care of it. The floors are beautiful.

The floors were in bad condition with cigarette burns. Padding that had melded with the floors over 40 yrs. Now they look perfect. This company did a fantastic job. I am so pleased. The patch work was expensive but you can't even tell it's there. Just great, from the sales woman, phone contact, to the workers. They didn't drip stain anywhere. The project was less messy than I was expecting too.

They matched some existing flooring, did a beautiful job matching the stain, they priced about 20% less than other quotes. They did fantastic work, they were on time, and they cleaned up well.

Wow. Absolutely amazing job. We hired Flawless Flooring to refinish the hardwood floors in our 1936 Shorewood home prior to moving in. We knew our floors were going to be great, but the previous owners left the floor scratched, dinged, and faded. The representative from flawless flooring walked through the house with us, explained the process thoroughly, and gave us an estimate on the spot. He even drove over to Flawless Flooring's store front with us to show us pictures and samples of different stains. This isn't a fly-by-night company. The representative explained that they employ multiple crews and work hard to finish large jobs in one week. The results were amazing. All flaws in the floor were expertly repaired and everyone comments on our beautiful finish. Bravo. Very little wood dust was left in the home. No problems with this company at all. Highly recommended. In short, all contractors should work like Flawless Flooring.
