It went very well. He made sure every thing that I want connected was done.
He tested the system and every thing worked as it should. We are very satisfied.a year, we had compiled quite a long list of electrical upgrades that needed to
be completed. After interviewing 4 people, we chose to use Dave. He very
methodically moved from room to room in our home taking care of the needs we
had asked him to do. It was a very extensive and sometimes dirty job, but he
showed up every day that he said he would and plowed through the list very
efficiently. He also did not mind when the scope of the work changed (I added
extra cans, timers and dimmers which he completed for very reasonable
prices....without complaining!).
After putting the requested recessed lights in the kitchen, he thought we
needed another one, and I agreed. Also, I noticed that we needed another light
at the bottom of the steps leading to the basement, he agreeed and added
another one to his list.
He did a great job upgrading two electrical panels, and took the time to label
them neatly for us.
It was also important for us to have our generator operable before winter. He
connected the generator and installed the transfer switch and panel for us,
which he also labeled neatly. He took time to go back through our list of
"must haves" (kitchen, freezers, office, etc.) for the generator and
came up with a couple of ideas to hook up to it that we had not thought of.
That was appreciated.
For part of the job, he had to go into the attic to cut holes for new lights
and ceiling fans. He did this neatly and cleaned up all of the drywall dust as
he went along.
But, the dirtiest part of the process involved digging a trench and running
electricity from the garage to the chicken coop. He had
to install 2 lights inside the coop, plus a receptacle for the heat lamp. He
installed outlets for us so that we could heat the chicks water to keep it
from freezing. He also added a light to the outside of the coop.
He moved junctions boxes in the ceiling in the basement that had
been covered over.
He added a pole switch and timer for post lights at the bottom of the driveway.
