Description of Work: Repair an inoperative key and tuning. Craig was creative in repairing my old piano. I did not want to put a lot of money in to it so I was happy that he could repair it/tune it for my own piano playing pleasure.

Description of Work: Craig showed up on schedule, worked hard, and retuned a piano that had been sitting unplayed for 30 years! He explained to me that it would take more yearly tunings to return it to full correctness - a tiny bit flat for now - and said he would remind me in a year's time.

 + -1 moreCraig Frohna was a huge help to me in buying a piano. A professional tuner and piano technician of long experience, he gave me lots of good advice as I looked through the For Sale ads in search of an upright piano for my kids to practice on. When I found one I wanted to buy, he went to the house of the piano's owner and inspected it thoroughly. The cost was extremely reasonable. I couldn't have bought a piano without his help, and I highly recommend him to anyone thinking of buying a piano or in search of a tuner.
Description of Work: Craig Frohna gave advice about buying a used piano. He also inspected the piano that I eventually bought.

 + -1 moreCraig arrived on time and was friendly. He found some items in our piano that didn't belong (kabob skewers and a random bolt). Our piano isn't exactly top-of-the-line, but his tuning skills made a big difference in the sound. He even suggested ways to prolong the "tuning" of it---keeping it out of direct light, etc. He was recommended by a friend. I will definitely use him again. He also has a referral program which gives the person who did the referring a discount on his services.
