Clover Fence

The fence looks good, seems sturdy. I have no complaints about the fence itself or its installation. As far as running a business though, it is very amateurish. The only communication I got from Clover Fence were vague and terse responses to my questions. I got home from work one day and surprise! the old fence is gone. I got home one day the week after and surprise! the new fence is installed. No "Are we good to install on the 14th?" or even "We will install on the 14th", not a peep. And then I waited for the final invoice, now that the job was done, and none came. Of all the things a business might be bad at, I really didn't think "getting paid" would be one of them. They should hire a business manager or something to take care of the customer-service side of things.

These guys are great - the owner, post crew, panel crew ...all top notch. Communication was spot on, they were efficient, trustworthy, honest and very affordable in this market. I would recommend them to anyone.

Eric himself came out to give us a quote for our fence. We wanted a six-foot wood privacy fence to fence in our entire backyard. We also wanted a couple gates installed as well as a double door gate. We already had the survey done of our yard and just needed quotes. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He gave some great recommendations that no one else did and we had at least four other companies come out and give us quotes. He recommended steel beams for the poles if we planned on staying in the house long-term. He was very honest and said that it would not be worth spending the extra money to do this if we would not be staying in the house for a long time. He also had the best price out of all the companies. I appreciated his honesty and did not feel he was trying to up-sell us at all. We did end up going with clover fence to do the work and have been extremely happy with our fence. They worked hard to get us on the schedule as quickly as they could even though it was their busy season. They completed the work in a timely manner and were very professional. We have had it for over a year now and it looks great. Our dogs are happy too!

Everything seemed fine, called and able to start weeks early which was great. However, workers came and went with no communication, equipment and supplies left in yard for weeks when waiting for custom piece which we didn't know was needed until I called and spoke to owner. Part expected days before installed, they came and installed without notification, and extra work asked for invoiced, but not resolved until, again I called. Now I have damage on the fence and I called, twice, and was told they would “look into” in next week or two, been way longer than that and no visit or resolution. We like the product, but the company and communication leave much too be desired. We would not recommend or use on future projects.

Overall it went well, lots of rain caused delays as well as a one part of product came in the wrong color that we waited for.

Eric provided his consultation services and provided us with some suggestions that we ultimately decided to go with. We are extremely happy with the work he and his team provided for us.

Work was very well done and the yard was all cleaned up also.

My fence is beautiful. Professional looking, great job done in timely manner. Nice guys took the time to explain things. Wonderful clean up. Love the work done!
