Description of Work: Consultant hired to evaluate quality of a recently completed asphalt driveway at a new home construction in Waukesha County. We had problems with the driveway contractor, and when work was completed, there were significant drainage problems, which is not a good condition for a driveway in the woods, especially in the winter! (Don't want to hit a patch of ice and slide off into a tree or ditch!). The asphalt contractor claimed that the work was "up to industry standards," and we hired Mr. Lewis to evaluate the work and give us his opinion as to whether the work completed was "up to industry standards" or not. Mr. Lewis' past experience included being chair of the Industry Standards Committee, an award winning custom home builder, a member of the Metropolitan Builder's Association, as well as a member of th MBA Construction Arbitration Committee, among many other qualifications. He was also a very nice to deal with and performed his work competently, professionally, and efficiently. This was assessed before his report was submitted to us.
