Description of Work: Tree pruning. Did an excellent job but I waited through the winter and spring for them to do a job I contracted in the early fall.

Description of Work: We use American Tree primarily for protecting our ash trees from the emerald ash borer. So far, the trees look healthy when other trees in the neighborhood have had to be cut down. Use them also for occasional tree trimming. The only complaint I have is that they once came to trim right after a heavy snow fall. They put chains on the cherry picker and the wheels spun, digging up part of the side yard and also left some scratches on the driveway concrete. Just don't let them come to do trimming after a heavy snow!

Description of Work: CUT DOWN THREE TREES, TRIMMED ANOTHER AND GROUND DOWN ALL THE STUMPS. EVERYTHING WENT WELL THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN ONE DAY INCLUDING REMOVAL OF ALL THE DEBRIS. THIS WENT BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE EXPECTED. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.

Description of Work: 2 large oak tried cut down by lord as side yard to narrow for cherry picker type trust.

Description of Work: Treated a star magnolia for magnolia scale infestation. They used staged treatment, a chemical injected into the ground around the tree and in the spring, a dormant spray. The results were quite impressive. They warned me that they could not guarantee total eradication in one year and that further treatment would be needed for control. I appreciated their honesty. I have used this company for approximately 5 years and I have been very satisfied.

Description of Work: It took awhile for them to come out since they were so busy but when they did come they did a great job. Trimmed three trees and provided support for a large tree that had a split seam starting. Would definitely recommend!

Description of Work: Good work but I specifically asked them to call me before they came out for evaluation and estimate which they did not do. This has happened before so it seems to be their policy. May not use in future because of this.

Description of Work: American Tree Experts came to the house to assess 2 large maples, a large spruce that was losing its needles, and 2 crabapple trees. We were given an estimate for pruning all of the trees and spraying the spruce (2 applications)for needlecast. We elected to have the maples and spruce treated and pruned. We requested and received a call prior to techs arriving to spray the spruce so that we could let our neighbors know it was being done. There was a bit of confusion related to scheduling the pruning of the maples and spruce, but once scheduled everything went like clockwork. On the day of the pruning we had 3 gentlemen, 2 pruning, 1 mulching branches, they raked the yard and cleaned off the driveway when they were done. The left the larger branches as we requested. All three trees look beautiful. I highly recommend American Tree Experts and would not hesitate to call them again.
