 + -1 moreHorrible. Guy and his mom are creepy, they take your machine, demand a down payment, then NEVER do any work for three months... When you call about your machine, they are rude and say DON'T call us will call you when your machines ready. Then he claims hes gives a saga about health issues as an excuse. When I went to pick up my machine, he tried to push me off, pretending he'd find my machine later... when I saw it sitting on a dirty floor with 40-50 other machines... this is a horrific business
Description of Work: He Never did the work, held machine for 3 months, shop is a Hoarders Hideout...

 + -1 moreAn outstanding experience! Greg, owner of Accurate Sewing Center, repaired my machine so it actually hums just like new. Mind you the machine is 55 years old! His price was very fair, and his knowledge of sewing machine malfunctions was encyclopedic.
Description of Work: Repaired a 55 year old Singer sewing machine that wasn't working for over 8 years.

Description of Work: Wife took a prt off her sewing machine to change the needle and we couldn't get it back on. We drove to Accurate and a younger, heavy-set man was outside having a cigarette. He didn't say good morning or any greeting. My wife explained the problem nd he started to work on it. I started to explain something to him and he told me to be quiet he needed to concentrate. He dropped a screw and had to find another which took quite a while. When he was done he told the wife to write "1D10T". He may have meant it to be funny but it was very unprofessional. It was as if we were bothering him that he had to do some work. In the past we had always been satisfied with the work and the professionalism shown. But not this time. And the shop was very messy with empty boxes all over and a lot of dirt and parts laying on the floor. We won't go back there.

 + -1 moreGreat! He had everything I needed to repair this old but valuable sewing machine. His prices and selection were excellent. He even gave me free advice on how to repair the feed-dog that was frozen. He was nothing but professional and helpful. He is an excellent resource that I will turn to in the future for parts and repairs of my Pfaff sewing machine. He also provides parts and service on these machines: Consew, Tacsew, Necchi, Econosew, Singer, Seiko, Juki and more..
Description of Work: Via the internet, he sold and shipped about $50 worth of hard-to-find sewing machine parts for my 1995, Pfaff, Model 1469, computerized sewing machine. Also provided free gifts (a scissors, and several manuals,).

THIS REPAIR SHOP ALSO CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A SEWING INSTRUCTOR AT A LOCAL UNIVERSITY AS BEING AN HONEST BUSINESS THAT SOLD GOOD USED (AND NEW) MACHINES. IT IS A SMALL FAMILY BUSINESS.
Description of Work: I TRADED IN AN OLD SEWING MACHINE FOR A PFAFF. THE SALESMAN GAVE ME GOOD ADVICE FOR MY SPECIFIC NEEDS AND EXPLAINED THE REPAIRS THAT WERE NEEDED ON MY EXISTING MACHINE.
