I had several people come to give me estimates for grading our home due to some basement leakage. After reviewing the estimates and looking at the scope of work I choose Bill at AAA.
His estimate provided the most detail of what I was looking for and he listened to what I wanted. I had worked with AAA in the past and I was very satisfied with their work so I had a high comfort level hiring them. Due to some heavy rain showers the project took a bit longer than I would have liked but Bill was excellent about communicating about what was happening.
In the end I was delighted with the project. He was able to locate gold mulch that I could not find anywhere.
This summer as my new plants have come up I am so happy with the job he did. With the basement leaking under control, I was able to remodel my kitchen, a project I put off until I was comfortable with the condition of the basement.
We had AAA landscaping replace our retaining wall over 5 years ago.
The owner, I believe his name was Bill came out to give us an estimate. My husband was not impressed but we were given addresses where he had done prior retaining walls. We were very impressed with what we saw.
We hired AAA to replace our wall and plant shrubs early in the summer. The following year the shrubs died out. We made an agreement where we would pay for the new shrubs and they would remove the dead shrubs and plant the new ones at no cost for the labor.
We were so satisfied, they are the first company we called for an estimate on a new project regarding around our house.
"We, AAA Landscaping, do not have record of any of these multiple phone calls that the complainant is claiming to have made. Completion of the fence in question was done in November of 2008, which is almost 10 months ago. Upon completion, there was a walk through done with the customer to make sure that everything had been completed and the customer was satisfied with the job. AAA Landscaping later received a card from the customer, which we have sent a copy of along with this statement for your records, stating how pleased they were with the fence that AAA Landscaping had installed and the service that was provided. This job took us and extended amount of time due to problems on site, and there were difficulties that AAA Landscaping had to deal with such as steel and scrap in the ground where we tried to make holes, both of which the customer was not charged for, although as they have indicated, they were given an extremely discou7nted price. Our policy at AAA Landscaping is that if there is a problem within a minimal amount of time after installation, we understand and can work with the customer. In spit of this, considering that so much time has passed and especially the winter season with snow on the ground that the gates are often pushed through, there can be untold stress on the fence due to mishandling in many cases. For this exact reason, we do not warranty any fences. AAA Landscaping would be more than happy to go back to this property and fix the current issues that the customer has stated in his complaint, however since the initial job was done and completed without any problems, there will be a trip charge and/or service charge of $100 minimum."
"The customers had expressed no problems to the start date. When we finished, myself and my crew were commended on the job we had done. My crew did extra work requested by the customer to install caps, this was not part of the contracted job. This is chargeable, but we did not charge at the time. Soon after the customer complained about one thing after another. We made several trips to do additional work without charge. Some of the additional work was because of disagreement between this couple on how they wanted the installation done. While doing the job, my crew asked if they could avoid the intoxication of the customer by working very early in the morning, but timing did not matter. My employees can speak very good English, but when harassed refuse to. The members daughter hired us to install a fence at her residence after this complaint was made. I propose to adjust the fence spacing for the sum of $280. This would be applied to prior additional services received. Bill Servi"
