They did great work.

They were excellent. Every provider that they brought in every step of the way they were top notch. They were more reasonable than some of the other quotes that I have gotten. One of my quotes was eight thousand and they were three thousand and the end product is awesome because they had to match up flooring in my kitchen and they did wonderful. Just that I was satisfied in every aspect of it from them coming out here to give me a quote and just their responsiveness when I called on the phone, they were very respectful.

WOW! What a great job Wood Floors Unlimited did! We bought an old home in west tosa that had had carpet over the original wood floors for many many years. WFU sanding things down, went through staining colors with us, and did an overall great job! They were fast, on time, efficient, and very friendly! Would certainly rec to anyone and will use again when we refinish our bedroom floors!

Our new floor looks great! The service from start to finish was great. 5 years ago we had our family room/kitchen hardwood floors refinished by Wood Floors Unlimited and loved the results so much that we didn't hesitate to hire them for this project. The first time around I researched a number of companies and found Wood Floors Unlimited to be the best value. Lou (owner) was very honest and helpful in meeting our needs. I will definitely call them back when our floors need to be buffed.

We removed a poorly built, not to code, large masonry fireplace, and replaced it with a gas fireplace. This left a fairly sizable, odd shaped gap in our existing wood floor.
Louis and his team are prompt, easy to communicate with, and professional in every way. The receptionist is friendly and does a great job scheduling and communicating our needs. 
 They installed the existing floor in 2013. They also installed a gorgeous floor in our previous house.
The end product is beautiful!

This is a tough call, the job is really several steps here.

A. Installation of flooring 
I would give them an A. They did a great job installing the new flooring. No issues
B. Staining
Again.. great job. The stain was beautifully and evenly applied. They DID get some stain on some existing tiles and didn't bother to clean that up. Had to do that myself Over all I'd give them a A for the staining
C. Varnishing
Here is where they fell down. The varnish was not evenly applied, You can see marks on the floor from the application. Plus, there are a number of places where there was dirt/sawdust particles where they VARNISHED over them. They are now embedded in the varnish. I admit I've never had a floor refinished before, so perhaps this is par for the course, but I've had a couple of new floors installed and the finish work was far better in terms of how even the finish was and NO particles embedded into the varnish.

After the fact, they had not pushed the fridge back and after they left we pushed the fridge into where it belonged. This left a strip that was a different color in the floor. To be fair, the company DID come right over and happily fixed this. However, he sanded down part of the kitchen so he could revarnish. After he left, I can now see sanding marks in the floor where he sanded and revarnished. 

Honestly. All aspects of the job and the interaction with this company were great EXCEPT for the final finish. The problem with this, is THAT"S what you end up seeing, the final finish. Given the care that was taken with ALL the other steps, it left me somewhat disappointed. I personally would not call this company back to have them refinish my floor.

We had to leave the house as there was no way to get in once they did the refinishing, so we arranged to have them meet us in the morning, turned over a key and came back a couple days later to new floors. They moved the refrigerator and did the floor under the stove. Went to their office that Monday to pay and pick up my key. The men that worked on the floor were friendly and the woman in the office was also friendly. Great job, would hire again.

It did go well. They matched up the stain exactly to my older wood floors that were installed 8 years prior by this company. There were a few areas where they put the shoe on and used shorter pieces where I would have liked a longer piece. I called the owner of the company and told him. He came out the following week and fixed everything to my liking. I would use this company again.

Wood Floors Unlimited was professional from providing an estimate through installation. They provided advice on how to blend the new wood floor into an existing wood floor. Their estimate was the lowest of three we obtained. The installation crew worked quickly and explained any problems they encountered. They worked hard to minimize the dirt. The sanding and staining crew used a dust containment which greatly kept the dust to a minimal amount. They helped with selecting a stain color and did a beautiful job. I felt very comfortable letting all of the crew into our home when no one was home. The company also provided the advice and materials on how to best maintain the wood floor. The estimate matched the final bill. During the project, the company replaced 1 large board and repaired another in our existing wood floor. After several days, a small piece of the new board popped out. Wood Floors Unlimited quickly came out and determined that it would be best to replace the complete board-about 8 feet. They then had to stain and seal the new board which required 2 trips. I was expecting them to fill the hole with putty but they choose to take the extra steps without hesitation! It was a very happy experience and I love the results!

I was a little bit frustrated with them throughout the process however now that I look back at everything I am very happy with it. They had put some quarter round molding around the flooring and they stained it a completely different color than the floors. They stained the molding a black walnut color while the floors were a reddish oak. They tried to fix it, but we ended up having to take care of it ourselves. Another problem that I ran into was that they were pretty inflexible about fixing some of the other molding problems. They crew who came out was very responsive to me throughout the process. The price seemed to be about average. The finished product is beautiful.

Very professional!!! Estimate was done on the spot with no hidden costs. The workmen were there on time, minimized the mess associated with a wood floor installation and completed the job on time as promised. The finished floor is beyond my expectations! I had used Wood Floors Unlimited years ago. They continue to maintain a quality service. In addition, in order to make sure the price was competitive, I received two other estimates (both companies took days/weeks to return my call for an estimate). Both companies promised an estimate within 2-3 days, but took well over a week. Their prices were close to the estimate of Wood Floors Unlimited, but had ''hidden costs''. When I asked about these I was told that I would have to contact subcontractors to complete those areas (Plumber for the toilet; Carpet installer to retack the carpet adjoining the room with the new wood floor.) Wood Floors Unlimited took care of all of these areas and included them in the original estimate.

They helped us in every step of the process. They talked about the woods to choose, the color to stain and design ideas to accent the floors. We love the unique design of our floor.

I THINK THE THREE FELLOWS THAT CAME HERE DID A WONDERFUL JOB! THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND DID A GREAT JOB! I'D RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! THEY ALSO STAINED AND PUT POLYURETHANE ON THE FLOOR TOO!

THEIR PRICES WERE GOOD AND THEY WERE QUICK AND EFFICIENT, BUT ALSO HIGH IN QUALITY.
